My daughter is a Dunkin fan and I am too. She has been asking me to go and I finally gave in last night. What a mistake; I still can’t believe how rude the lady was on the mic that I even still laugh because the disrespect was wild! Now my daughter’s order is intricate but again she comes to Dunkin pretty frequent enough to have ordered this drink before. One of the parts of her drink is adding cold foam and sprinkling some brown sugar on top. Now after I repeat my daughters order the lady says “ma’am this is not Starbucks we do not do all of that nor do we have the syrup in cold foam”……now if this lady would’ve listened to my order instead of getting smart she would’ve I realized I ordered exactly what they had minus it’s a cinnamon sugar sprinkle not brown sugar. I said NOTHING about a brown sugar cold foam that’s what she heard because again not listening. To make matters worse when we got the order it was wrong! My daughter had to take it back up because hey forgot the cold foam on her drink. Then told her no it’s correct the cold foam is on the other drink. Yall the other drink was a toasted white mocha latte….which then made me think….well what did I get because my drink should’ve been normal with no add ons. Because it as my first time having the toasted white chocolate I’m not even sure it was made correctly either. It wasn’t sweet, which is what I prefer, and it was just ok I wouldn’t order it again, but since the lady said the other drink is what had the brown sugar syrup and cold foam…..it makes me wonder what I actually had and if I do need to try it again, lol. All in all I would o to Dunkin but you might want to avoid the Sunday evening shift as...
Read moreThe manager is very rude in how he speaks to customers. He doesn’t manage the employees well. Last weekend the order taker wasn’t paying attention to the drive thru. She was having personal side conversations that could be clearly heard. Then the young manager came on the intercom rudely in defense of the employee who wasn’t handling customer orders. At the drive thru window, I called the manager over to remind him that behavior is rude and inappropriate. Today I gave DD another chance. They were open but not serving and that same manager squawking through the intercom so rudely. This person has very poor people and communication skills. Being a store manager is a lot of responsibility and demands a high level of customer service skill and general communication acumen. This DD store is brand new! There’s only the manager to blame for its current low review score by customers and failure to maintain adequate staff to open on time and efficiently process simple donut and drink orders.
*I’ve seen Dominoes and Wendy’s occasionally staffed by a single dedicated employee, who was able to wear all the hats involved in much more complicated food preparation, yet maintain a great attitude focused on serving customers.
What’s up with Duncan?...
Read moreWent there past night around 620pm and the drive thru woman was clueless and was very confused and disoriented. I asked for a iced peppermint latte with 2 extra shots of espresso and she tells me that the latte doesn't have 'coffee' in it to begin with. I said It should have espresso because it's a latte and the line was dead silent. I repeat my order and she made a weird noise and said she didn't understand how I wanted 2 extra shots. I repeated it a 3rd time and u could hear the confusion in her voice. So I left because I knew it wasn't going to be right. Sad thing is the night before I dealt with the same employee and she seemed out of her mind than too but the drink was good because another employee verified what I wanted at the window. This employee seemed to not know or understand where she was and the management should try to train their people better....
