Store 1635: If I was a secret shopper, I would give this store a passing grade. I work in hospitality, and I came in after having a very rough day. This is not a place I frequent but I had just come from the auto parts store across the street, and it was close by. The restaurant looked worn but clean. The staff were busy, but the main counter associate greeted within 30 seconds. I had a question about the appearance of a promotional menu item, and the associate was polite and answered my questions by showing me first hand the dish I was curious about (shrimp stuffed pasta).
I overheard a BOH member stating that they had 14 orders for this menu item after I made my order. To my surprise, it was brought to my table in 7min. Restaurant was 20% capacity for dine-in. Tables, floor, drink station were clean or did not have messes or out of stock items. Amanda, the FOH associate/runner was very steadfast and professional. She did a very admirable job with her duties. She table touched every 5-10 minutes. She was brief, polite, offered assistance without hovering, kept on with dishes and trash, and bussed my table as I finished with my dishes. Her service was genuinely a 5.0/5.0 (just shy of delivering a baby on the floor, lol).
I'm not going to pour on about the greatness of Fazoli's or say this is the best trip I've ever had here. However, Amanda performed her duties admirably, and the restaurant was clean and seemed to be running a steady operation. Great...
Read moreI've been to the fazolis on West Washington Street numerous times both dine in and drive thru; however, I had a terrible experience with the staff at the drive thru last night. I pulled up and ordered my food. It was an hour before close and I ordered 2 dozen breadsticks, I was expecting to wait. I pull up to the window and gave the girl my money and she brings my change back per usual. This is where is went awry. She makes my grape lemon drink thing which I've gotten quite a few times before and hands it to me with all the grape syrup sitting at the bottom. It would be one thing if that's how those drinks were served normally but I have ordered that drink in different flavors and never had to mix it myself. Either way that's not big deal but then I witnessed a female employee throw up two middle fingers towards another employee right in front of the drive thru window. When I received my food, I had ordered a desert that required a spoon and a fork, I checked the bag to see if they were in there. They were not. I then had to lay on the horn to get a different employees attention. When she came to the window, she asked if I needed something. I told her I needed a spoon and a fork and she repeats it back to me and returns with two forks and shuts the window. At this point in over it so I just drive home. Once I get home I realized that I only received 1 order of breadsticks. I ordered 2 dozen breadsticks a drink and a dessert, that's it. Very unprofessional and extremely...
