So, my daughter and I were on a culinary espionage mission, aiming for another restaurant, when we accidentally crash-landed at The Hummus Republic.
Without a clue about what to order (I mean, who really knows what goes into a falafel?), we played 'Culinary Roulette' and asked the staff to whip up a meat-free wrap with the same love and care they'd show a long-lost friend who just escaped a deserted island.Let me tell you, the falafel wrap they conjured up was nothing short of a veggie-packed magic carpet ride. It was like the United Nations of flavors in there – perfectly structured and organized, like a tiny, delicious edible city. Next time, I'm going to ask for "spicy enough to make a dragon want to retire.
"And oh, the sweet potato fries – I'm pretty sure they're what dreams are fried in. These weren't just good; they were 'cancel all my plans, I've found my soulmate' good. The lemonade teas were a merry-go-round of refreshment. I was like a mad scientist, conducting a very serious experiment to find my favorite. Spoiler: They were all so good that my taste buds threw a little party.
Dessert? Oh, we went there. A brownie that would make a chocolate connoisseur weep and a cookie that might just start its own fan club. Plus, the ginger ale – I'm convinced it's brewed by wizards or something. The staff? Imagine your favorite superhero, but with aprons and a talent for making insanely good food. They nailed it like culinary rock stars, deserving of a standing ovation and maybe their own theme song.
The staff were more than accommodating; they were warm, welcoming, and demonstrated a genuine passion for their craft. Their approach to preparing food—as if for a beloved friend—was evident in every mouthful. It was a dining experience infused with patience, love, and a touch of culinary magic.
I wholeheartedly recommend The Hummus Republic to anyone seeking a meal crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Their approach to food is not just about feeding the body but nourishing the soul. This is not just a place to eat; it's a place to experience joy, love, and the thrill of culinary adventure. You won't be disappointed – each visit promises to be a delightful journey for...
Read moreI was initially super excited about trying your facility as this was my first time. I discovered your facility through a coupon book I was given. So I decided to put one of my two coupons to use that day.
When I walked in I made the server aware that I had a "Buy one, get one" coupon and that I wanted to do two bowls. He immediately told me to wait and asked his coworker about the coupon. So I waited and the coworker (an older lady) ended up helping me.
All seemed well until I got to the register, she was very stand-offish. She told me my coupon was ripped and they couldn't take ripped coupons. So I offered to grab my coupon book that contained the mini ripped piece she was speaking of. She told me "yes to go grab it" and when I brought it back she still had something to say about my coupon. She told me I should have given the coupon straight from the coupon book.
I told her I had no reason to lie or get over about my coupon. I let her look at my coupon book and hold it. I told her she could just have both my coupons if it bothered her so much that I didn't physically rip the coupon out of the coupon book in front of her and she seemed very annoyed with me. She ended up taking both my coupons ("Buy one get one" and the 25% off item) but she only honored one of the two coupons.
I felt treated like a criminal for a hummus bowl. I hadn't been feeling well all week, so I looked forward to eating some good food on a Friday but felt quickly soured by her attitude. I will not be attending that location ever again and want to make sure I tell my friends the same. We work so hard all week and to be treated less than a human when you're paying your good hard earned money is just not acceptable in today's economy.
food is EXCELLENT,...
Read moreThe food here was great, and a nice healthier change of pace from the typical fast food options in the area. However, the staff needs to do some serious work on their service. I ordered online around 11:15am, and it said the order would be ready between 11:45am-12:00pm. I arrived just after 12:00. There was no clear instruction on where to go for online orders so I went to the cash register. I stood there for 10-15 minutes watching them serve other customers. Never made eye contact with me or acknowledged me in any way. Another person who looked like a door dash driver came up to the register and was acknowledged immediately by the staff. Waited around a little longer, still nothing. Finally decided to go to the other end of the store where walk-ins start their order. Only then could I get their attention. By then it was 12:15 and find out that my order hadn't even been started yet 1 hour after being placed. They put it together and then just sat it on the counter. The lady didn't even look at me or say anything to me. Just sat it down. I doubt I'll go back due to this experience, but if I do (cause the food was solid), I sure won't be...
