This was the first time we had Haitian food - and it was fantastic. We had the Pwason Dirikole (red snapper broiled instead of fried) and Kabrit Dirikole) goat, which came with a hefty portion of rice, plantains and a carrot/cabbage slaw. Super yummy. Very similar to other Caribbean food, but with a distinct flavor. The traditional spice rub on the goat was fantastic. The slaw was surprisingly super spicy, which was great to mix into the rice, but overwhelming on its own. I was initially hesitant about coming after reading the reviews, but most of the low ratings were for the service, not the food. I thought the service was good, just culturally different. My observation was that Haitians don’t smile a lot. A man kindly described some of the dishes and we chose based on his descriptions, although we could have picked off the menu. While we dined in, it seemed like most people ordered food to go, as there were only 5 tables. My only complaint was of their use of styrofoam containers (bad for the environment and for the body). If I lived in Indianapolis, I would be a regular here, and try everything on the menu!

Wow. I have heard Haitian Restaurants have very poor customer service. I have always given them the benefit of the doubt, but this place is the worst of its kind. Omg. How can you be so terrible at selling food; its food yet absolutely terrible service. Wouldn't be surprised if they get inspected in the near future. Go to Five Star Restaurant instead. You will not be disappointed.

Visiting Indiana from Miami and was glad to see the growing population of Haitian, here. I ordered stew goat and griot and it was average compared to the flavorful dishes back home. Customer service needs improvement. The young lady taking orders wasn't as welcoming as expected. The restaurant was clean, and our dine in experience was okay.

I came here four months ago and was satisfied with the food but the bathroom was lacking hand soap. I then asked for soap to be placed in the bathroom prior to my dining in which they abided . I returned again months later to find no soap in the bathroom again. I inquired with the cashier and she told ME to look under the sink for replacement. I said there was nothing there and inquired as to what the kitchen staff used through the day, she said the hand sanitizer. I told her washing with soap and water while in the restroom is best practice and I think it’s frowned upon in that type of establishment to only use alcohol based sanitizer after using a restroom. Both women looked at me as if I was asking for something extreme by demanding soap in the restroom. Now, anticipating my entire family getting Sick within the next 24 hours. I want the best for this business and hope they take this constructive criticism before any harm comes to...

I cannot express enough how horrible my experience was at this restaurant. Not only was the food awful and barely edible, but it also made me extremely sick and landed me in the hospital. I cannot believe that a restaurant would serve such contaminated and dangerous food. I will never be returning and advise others to stay far away from this establishment. It was a terrifying and painful experience that I never want to go...
