Ming Jiang — Restaurant in Indianapolis

11/29 Update: ok so they must be cutting corners. The served me Steamed Dumplings with ground beef in them NOT PORK. the Chow Mei Fun was dry with no sauce. When I called to tell them what the problem was they told me that I didnt understand like I didnt know what ground beef taste like. UPDATE AS OF 6:15P: had a neighbor smell the dumplings AND THEY WERE RANCID. Called back to let them know and ask for my money back. Told me they had to talk to the manager or bring the food back. Then told me the manager was on vacation but bring the food back or they cant give me a refund. Why would you need spoiled food back? I have never had an issue with them before so this is really disappointing.

I used to love this place until this past weekend when my wife and I placed an order for carryout.

When we arrived to pickup our order there was an announcement on the front door stating that the restaurant was closed due to health code violations. The door was propped open a bit, I suspect with the hopes that people wouldn't notice the fact that they weren't supposed to be open.

We decided to leave and about 45 minutes later the restaurant called us asking if we were coming to pick up our order which was ready, when we informed them of why we left they just hung up. I went ahead and emailed the health department about this and they got back to me saying they had sent someone over the weekend to enforce the closure.

I've eaten at some questionable places but I can't bring myself to eat somewhere that has such clear lack of care about the health of their customers or the laws relating to running an eating...

The worst chicken wings I have ever had in my life! They were obviously old wings that they just dropped back into what I can only assume was a vat of lard. They were dry and hard. The restaurant dies not look or smell clean. There are a bunch of cardboard boxes stacked out in the dining room. the chicken fried rice had very little chicken. The taste was ok. I hope I don't die from food poisoning in my sleep tonight. This place has gone down hill. Why was the Chicken bone damn near black?
