I stood in li e for 10 mins. When the cashier said I'll take whoever is next and actually ready.... I went up to the counter and looked at the menu trying to find exactly what I wanted so I said it correctly. I I was looking she was rolling her eyes.. never asked if she could help me find something, offer suggestion or drink.. just rude! I ordered the choose 2 for take out. I got chicken tortilla soup and spud with cheese, sour cream and butter. I was very disappointed that they gave me ONE tiny little butter spat and a small little cup or sour cream. First off, a potatoe is dry and those did nothing to help. Also the cheese was already on it, so it's melted cheese on a dry potaoe that I had to add the sour cream and butter on top of the now melted cheese that has formed in like a melted slice. At least I work from home and had butter and sour cream. I had to reheat my food and make it how I would expect it to be. I probably won't be back for a while. I can handle a bad customer service experience OR a not so great prepared meal, but NOT BOTH. especially when I pay over 10 bucks for a cup of soup and a...
Read moreBought a gallon of unsweet “famous” tea 2 days ago late in the day. Poured a glass to go with dinner and found it tasted off. The next day it was very smelly and probably tasted terrible. I took it back today and spoke to a smart aleck young woman who said they’re only supposed to last 2-3 days. Really? So you think charging over $10 is right for tea that has to be drunk within 48 - 72 hours Previously I had this tea last two weeks in the refrigerator so I don’t believe that crap.
I’ve been patronizing McAlisters for at least 10 years spending literally thousands of dollars and I don’t even get an I’m sorry let’s make this right??? I will NEVER go again and will drive miles out of the way to avoid this chain. I have deleted the APP and I’m done with their overpriced food and drink. They have gotten their very last dime from me. Hire some polite older people who have empathy for customers paying high prices and not getting value for...
Read moreThis was one of the first McAlister's Deli open in central Indiana and I have eaten here several times over the past few years. It is located just across the 86th street bridge near Keystone at the crossing area.
The inside of the stores is very clean and nice looking, and there is usually plenty of tables no matter what time you go. Even with the long lines during lunch time they have several counters open to get you through quickly and back out the door.
The meats they use are excellent quality and you can taste the difference over a cheaper priced sub-type sandwich. They can custom make all types of sandwiches for you. They also have several excellent sides such as chili and macaroni and cheese, large cookies, salads, and baked potatoes loaded up anyway you want.
This is an excellent meeting place for lunch that won't break your budget. I highly recommend trying them if you...
