I’m beyond frustrated with this place. I waited 42 minutes for a single sandwich, which is absolutely unacceptable. Every 3-5 minutes, I kept asking the staff for an update, and every time I was met with blank stares and a lack of any real answer. The employees hardly speak a word of English, which I understand might be challenging for them, but even when I switched to Spanish, it was like I was speaking to a wall. They still seemed to have no clue what I was asking, and the few who did understand seemed completely indifferent to the problem.
It wasn’t just me. The lobby was packed with angry, confused customers, all waiting for food that never seemed to come. People were looking around at each other, bewildered, wondering why on earth it was taking so long. This place is constantly understaffed, and the few employees here don’t seem to care at all.
The worst part? I’ve been coming here time and time again, giving them chance after chance just because it’s close to my office. But today was the final straw. I’d rather walk a few extra blocks, drive to Burger King, or even make a simple sandwich at home than waste another minute here.
The service is unbelievably slow, the staff don’t seem trained or even willing to work efficiently, and those who do understand English (barely) are downright rude. The food? Heading home to Brownsburg from east side, I decided to stop off and get my family and I a meal. Pulled up to speaker to place order. Other cars pulled up behind my car. Other line on the north end was also full of cars. I waited and waited for someone to answer the intercom so I could place my order. Other line was moving peoples orders. After waiting and no response I just pulled out of line. Drove around building and got in the north end drive thru. I told the person that I had waited for a time in the other drive thru and no one responded at the other intercom. I was then told that line was closed. I told them they need to place a sign saying that because cars were still lined up like I was waiting to be helped. When I got to the window to pay I told that cashier the same thing and she laughed. I told her nothing was funny about that. It was around 10 p.m. and I was angry at that point. Got my food and left and decided I would call the next morning and report the experience. I did. Asked for a manager. The person who answered the phone said they were the manager. I explained what happened again to only be told I need to call and talk to the night manager. Read moreI placed a curbside pickup order through the McDonald's app, but had a frustrating experience from start to finish. After arriving at the restaurant, I attempted to enter my parking space number, but the app glitched and the screen disappeared with no way to get back to it. This left me with no option but to go inside.
Once inside, I waited patiently at the counter for several minutes. Despite my presence, none of the employees acknowledged me. When I finally said “excuse me,” one of the workers turned, looked at me, and then simply went back to what she was doing—without saying a word or offering any help. It wasn’t until the manager came over that my order was finally addressed.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. When I got back to my destination, I discovered they had forgotten the coffee from one combo and the hash brown from another, even though both items were clearly listed on the receipt.
Overall, this was another disappointing and frustrating visit to McDonald’s. Between the unresponsive staff, technical issues with the app, and missing items, it left a lot to be desired. I hope improvements are made both in customer service and order accuracy...
