Miami's Garden — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Prepaid for a private room for a birthday celebration but by the time I arrived in Indianapolis, somebody else took the room. Romero kept telling me that there was nothing he could do about it. I was very upset about it. Long story short, a $100 was refunded along with 2 meals that I paid for. Afterwards on my way traveling back home to Georgia, Romero was harassing me through text because someone left a not so good review. This is very unacceptable and I will never recommend this establishment to anyone after what I went through. Romero is very unprofessional and rude!!

Romero: So I compensated you for your food for the inconvenience, refunded $100, and you still went online to give me a 2 stars review. Hope you're successful on whatever you do because Karma is everything. Have a blessed day! Oh please do. I'll leave it all to God. You asked if I can compensate you for your food, I did. You asked for refund, I did. Now you're going online to write review. And later on you'll be wondering why things are not going well in your business/endeavor. Because it's called KARMA. People who always try to get over stays under....

I came to town for a friend's birthday and stopped by for an after party at Miami's Garden. My friend and I went straight to the bar to order some drinks. On getting there, I started a conversation with a lady, turns out she is from my home country and she claimed to be the owner. I offered a drink which she refused, got to know her traditional name. We barely spent 5mins talking and she left. Great!

Out of the blue, an armed security came right behind me. Also one of the DJ's tapped my shoulder, spoke my native language and told me to leave the bar area. Then one of the servers (claimed to be owner's sister) told me the husband of the "lady owner" feels uncomfortable because I spoke to his wife. Then I understood why the armed person and DJ harrassed me.

I was only having fun networking as it was my 2nd time in Indiana. The husband of the lady owner (Motunrayo) should grow up. If you don't want guys to talk to your wife, let her stay home and not hang out alone at the bar late at night (1am-ish). Next time man up! Sending 3 different individuals to me...

Went to the venue for a bday celebration. We were a group of 4. We ordered food, which is priced way way way too high. Our food came out one at a time with 15 mins between each order, and 45 min difference between the 1st plate and the last. 2 of us had the exact same thing so we do not understand why our food came out with 15 minute difference between the plates. Dinner rolls should have been with ea order, we finally got them after the last order came out. The girls that served were nice as could be so we did not complain, but first and for most the cost is too high, the catfish pieces are too small. We sell the same meal at our church for $12 ea and the portions are huge. Anyway, I'll come back again but will not eat. Please consider lowering the price of the food, not for me but simply bc it's too darn...
