Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I ordered a medium pizza with extra sauce, light cheese, double sausage, and onion on Sunday 9/22 around 8pm. It was delivered without any issue until I opened the box and discovered it had extra cheese and light sauce instead. I called the restaurant to let them know I was very dissatisfied with what they delivered and they initially offered me 30% off for “my next visit”. The problem is that I’ve had this issue before with them flipping the instructions and I don’t trust them to actually make it correctly. I asked for a different solution and was put on the phone with the manager who said they can only offer 30% off because they only gave me extra cheese. I let her know this wasn’t going to be satisfactory solution and offered to Uber to the store and return it so I can get a refund because the pizza they delivered was just going to go in the trash anyways. The manager said she couldn’t accept it, told me to hold on and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and the manager acted like we hadn’t just been speaking, but once I explained that she had just rudely hung up on me and I was still waiting for a solution to the issue, she said I’d be able to get a refund and should it expect it to be processed tomorrow. I’ll update this review once I receive my refund. The only thing I can say about this place is don’t use the speciality instructions that they offer on their app/website if you’re doing delivery because they’re not going to follow it, and you’ll be ass out with a pizza you don’t like/find inedible and have to deal with rude customer service just get a reasonable solution.

Christmas Eve 2020! I called around 8:30pm to find out store closing time, because it’s the holiday. We’ll I spoke with an employee and she informed me that they were indeed open and didn’t close until 10:45pm. She asked could she place a order for me and I asked if they were still delivering and she said yes, would you like pick up or delivery? I said delivery and gave my address etc and she placed my order and told me delivery time was expected to be 36-46 minutes. I said that was fine! Well, at 9:30 my husband fell asleep waiting. My three children and I waited and kept checking the door to be sure they didn’t leave it by the door, because of covid no contact. I kept checking my phone and realized by now it’s 10:00 and still no pizzas. Well, by this time I wondered if it had gotten delivered to the wrong address and decided to call Papa Johns. I attempted 4-5 times with wait times each call ( all saved in my phone log). With no result, I called one more time and then the answering machine came on and said they were CLOSED!!!!! I then checked my bank account and seen they had just refunded back my 52 dollars and change without the decency to even call and inform me that my Kids pizza night was not gonna happen. Every single restaurant is closed at this point, had I known I could have not wasted our time, starved and planned on something else.

Ok I ordered online and paid online for delivery a hour went by and I call back the rude lady said I tried to call you 3 times I said I am sorry I need to update my phone number so she said I canceled out your order because qe are out of chicken.
