It was the 5 items of breakfast all the 17 days of my stay and the suit was smelling badly, the housekeeper never clean the bath for the whole duration (17 days ) of my stay. The house keepers does not speak english and communication with them for anything was void.
To add insult to the matter, I reserved my accommodation aboout 3_4 months before i arrived US from UK, the total price was meant to be £1450 so when I arrived on the 15th of August,I i checked in at the reception abd handed my bank card for payment,, in my head I'm thinking the total payment which will be equivalent to the reservation price has all been taken as i was not told of any splitting system etc.
I was in a shocked to see that the hotel ended up charging me £1580 pounds and some pence instead of £1450 pounds and some pence, we decided to to approached the receptionist for clarification, the lady keeps saying 'oh our manager is not around but i will pass your message' for 3 good days and that she will let us know even if she is not able to see her manager, so I left the reception expecting and hoping someone will be in touch, i waited for 3 days and heard nothing from them. Because it was getting to to the day we needed to check out, I decided to aporoach them again, and this time around the lady lies again that her manager was not around , when infact, the other lady standing with her was the actual manager, it was then that, she says, oh im sorry my manager is new to the Job and I'm training her and that we cannot refund your money becos the hotel booking system tends to split people stays into 2 and charge twice, the first payment will be for 7 days followed by the second. I was so shocked with her respond at that moment. I now explained to her that its very unfair on my side to be charged £150 extra on top of my booking amount, and for her to tell me theres nothing they can do is very distressing for me.
I felt their system is been design to fraud foreigners like me as i was not paying the accomidation in US dollars. So please if you are making any reservation for this hotels in any location from another country outside USA, do ensure to tell the receptionist when checking in on your first night to take the full amount not split the money or days.
The hotel system needs to rectify their splitting system to one like every other hotels does and not fraud foreigners.
At the end of all my argument with the staff, I was not refunded any money which is very sad. I FELT STRONGLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WHOLE STAY AND I WILL NEVER BOOK OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE ANYWHERE BECAYSE OF THE TREATMENT I HAD JUST BECAUSE IF THE ACT OF FRAUDULENT. Yeah I’ve never expose them but today’s different because of one of the gay managers or whatever that is jumped the gun and got mad because I said this is wrong paying 127 a night and for what” so I told him that let’s work something out because I wanted to extend the stay and move on from that little incident with out exposure , the last thing I wanted to do.was a review that will be damaging, and it needs to be because they were not being sympathetic about anything about my kids, my wife or anything . When I went downstairs, I went downstairs for the intention of like where is my sympathy and can I get some kind of like discounts I could because I was gonna extend it anyways for 3 days the more . it’s not about the money it’s about the principal “ they don’t know how to treat people. Read moreOur recent stay at the La Quinta Indianapolis South was an excellent stay and everything about our stay was amazing! I’d like to extend a special thank you to Carlos who checked us in and made the extra effort to upgrade us to a suite. We are Wyndham reward members and when one initially books a room using reward points the system doesn’t allow a request for a suite, but the individual hotels can override the system and authorize it. No one there knew how to override it but Carlos took the time to make several calls to the support phone line and he eventually learned that there’s a room wizard in the computer system that allows the hotel staff to override the regular computer system and he then made the upgrade. We were so incredibly grateful for his efforts and our suite was wonderful and it truly made our stay very comfortable!! Thank you again, Carlos and you are amazing!!
Everything about our stay at the La Quinta was wonderful. The hotel staff members were extremely friendly and helpful and always went out of their way to be cheerful and accommodating. I was very surprised to read the negative reviews about the staff as that was not our experience at all. If anything, it was the complete opposite. The hotel was also very clean and I saw people cleaning all the time, which I was impressed by. Our room was very clean and extremely comfortable also and the suite was huge. It even had two bathrooms in each section of the suite, which I have never seen before and we travel frequently. It was awesome and very convenient!! Our overall stay could not have been better and I would highly recommend this hotel to others!!
The only negative that I have to report is that the road noise is a real issue if one is a light sleeper. I took ear plugs with me to help with the noise. Our suite was on the front side of the hotel as it was a queen bed suite and all the queen bedrooms face the highway. The king suites are the ones that are in the back so that might work better for those who are disturbed...
