Regular sports bar chain restaurant, specializing in wings. There's a ton of TVs playing a wide variety of sports programs. This time of year, little league baseball, strong man competitions and regular baseball were all playing along with sports commentary. You get shown to a table so be sure to ask for seating near your preferred programming. The sound from the TVs isn't too loud to be able to carry on a conversation, fortunately.
The unfortunate part is that, even though I was seated in a restaurant that was only about 1/5 occupied, it was difficult to get my server's attention. I don't know what she was busy doing because I mostly got helped by everyone else's server and the bar staff.
This showed when the food order took forever to show up and I was told that it somehow had been mixed up as a to-go order. They do a ton of that these days (like every other restaurant) but it had sat long enough that the wings were only luke-warm by the time I got them. I should have sent them back to be reheated but let it go.
The sauce was supposed to be the medium heat buffalo but was clearly the low heat one. The ranch dressing was thin and tasted like it was the cheapest they could buy. The wings themselves were good sized though.
I would recommend looking elsewhere if you value good service. They, like many restaurants, seem to be favoring takeout over in-house service. I'll try Ale Emporium next time I want wings I guess.
The waitress got 15% for poor service. I normally tip much better than that these days given the economic times. I just hope that the bar staff got some of that...
Read moreThis location has gone downhill. Now I do get it, regulars tend to get really good service. But at the same time we don't want to give crappy service to the rest of the crowd. So I came back after a couple years of not being in the area. Through out the rest of the locations I have never had a complaint. I came in sat at the bar top got my beer order in and then I placed my food order. Up until that point we were relatively ok. Everything took longer than usual especially with an almost empty restaurant. Then my food came out. It came out in a timely manner, but it had some simple mistakes. That is not what upset me. The "bartender" didn't bring any silverware and there were items wrong with my food. But it took her 15 minutes after the food came out (that the food runner brought out) before she even sort of even looked in my direction, and even then I had to get her attention and her resolve was "well the only thing we can do is remake it" I just wanted silverware and the missing items. She didn't even try any solution before going to just offering to remake the whole order. I was very angry but I just decided to leave instead of expressing my frustration. Then when the manager on duty went to void the order he did not even ask what happened or even try to make things right. As a manager of one of the neighboring businesses I am very disappointed in the...
Read moreNot even at B-Dubs or Wingstop have I ever had more fresh and straight out of the fire wings in my life! You're talkin about straight from the cook to your table wings fresh as hell! Another one of my places that I am proud to be a regular patron at. They do have a splendid and surprisingly large amount of flavors to choose from and they are all unique. but if you're a traditionalist and you like the standard hot wing or Buffalo flavor they got that too!
Okay enough about the wings they're amazing I'm pretty sure you get that by now. The sides are great as well and they do have a great selection as well as other main dishes to choose from.
It definitely is family friendly and is worth going to if you and your family or friends love great wings. trust me when I say if you had anybody else's wings you'll notice the difference when you go here. We all know there's a huge pricewar on wings between the major wing restaurants this is not one of those places we get the best premium chicken wings and size for an amazing price.
I would add some photos...
