Pig Pen BBQ — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Me and my family went to the Garage food court to eat yesterday on Sunday the 6th of August. My son had a pulled pork sandwich that he said it was great. I ordered a half rack of ribs that tasted like lighter fluid and was so charred onto the bone that you couldn’t even bite meat off of it. I picked the ribs up and could not even pull the ribs apart, I had to saw them with a plastic knife. Ribs fall off the bone or pull apart real easily. It’s not like trying to tear through concrete and this was not smoked, it was blackened & chard beyond belief. We regularly eat ribs around Indianapolis and this is the very worst I’ve ever had in my life. Why did your ribs taste like chemicals like lighter fluid or gas or something , I will never eat here again $27 for food and took three bites of it. I should’ve took it back. Do not eat here. Grabbed some dinner from Pig Pen BBQ, located inside The Garage Food Hall. I really liked the employees there…they were super nice and friendly!! I got the pulled pork dinner with 2 sides. The meat was tender, could have used a little more BBQ sauce…they only give you a small container. The cornbread was super delicious…but cold!!!! Please warm up your bread before giving it to a customer!! The macaroni was decent, not my favorite, only because it had something mixed in with it…not even sure what it was. The potato wedges were awesome! Loved the amount of salt on them…perfect…only complaint on these is that they were kinda overcooked a tad! Lastly, please serve fountain drinks…I despise having to get cans of pop at a food place! Overall, I would choose to...

Honestly shocked by the good reviews the place has! First and last time I will go to this place. My Mac was nasty and the potato wedges were all overcooked and hard. There were about 6 in the little container I received and it wasn’t filled all the way up. Not only that, I received a mini piece of cornbread with only 3 little pieces of beef brisket. Mind you one of the pieces of brisket was straight up fat! I received one little cup of bbq sauce for the brisket that wasn’t even filled up. I am so highly disappointed. I’m so upset because I came during my lunch break! So I had no other choice but to eat this food because it’s what I went out and bought during lunch. I was so excited to try...
