Rise'n Roll Bakery — Nora — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I’ve been to Rise’n Roll Bakery several times now, and after my 7th visit I decided it was finally time to share a review. Their donuts are consistently excellent, with my absolute favorite being the Cinnamon Caramel Donuts — always baked to perfection, soft, flavorful, and impressively fresh as long as they’re kept away from heat.

I also tried a few of their filled donuts, which were great. The only one I didn’t personally care for was the Crunch Bismark — there was quite a lot happening on top, and I think it might have been even better with a filling inside to balance it out. That said, their overall quality is undeniable.

The Nora location (and the other one I visit) are both clean, welcoming, and offer plenty of parking, which makes the experience even better. Pricing is also fair — I spent about $23 for a dozen donuts, which I consider well worth it for the quality you receive.

This was my first time here, as soon as you walk in you are greeted with an aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls, almost over powering (of course in a good way). I got a Carmel coated cinnamon ring, which they are known for, and it did not disappoint! It was a yeast donut - very fresh, covered in a powdered cinnamon sugar. One of the best donuts I have ever had!

I have gone back a few other times. Highly recommend the apple fitter and vanilla cream filled chocolate covered donut.

I have been here a few times in the past and their stuff is ok. Today I went to pick up an order that I had placed last week after it was heavily advertised on their Facebook for an event today (Paczki) and they were closed. Regular hours start at 7 so I arrived at 8 (after leaving the house early for work and driving out of my way) to see a note on the door. They did not call the number they have on file for my order.
