The worst experience I’ve had dining from start to finish! Four of my friends and I went here specifically for the bottomless mimosas. We arrive and have a 40 minute wait, which I thought was somewhat understandable because of the mimosa deal and it was St. Patty’s Day. So we finally get seated and have to wait for the waitress. She finally comes and tells us they no longer have the bottomless mimosas. First disappointment! Literally the reason we came! Against our better judgment, we decide to stay and order a $36 bottle of Prosecco (would’ve been $9.99 at the liqour store). The waitress asked each of us which juice we waited just to bring out ONE 12 oz glass of juice for five of us to share!!! And when we asked for another juice there was an additional charge.
Fast forward to the food… After waiting ANOTHER HOUR, IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! I ordered a build your own omelet with egg whites, spinach, cheese, green peppers, and bacon. The eggs were under cooked and the spinach tasted like it was frozen NOT fresh, my hash browns were crispy on the outside and mushy in the middle, YUCK!!! When the waitress finally brought my toast (because all the food came out separately), I kindly her that I did not want it and I did not want to wait for another one. She takes the plate and when she comes back she says her manager said the best she can do is 50% off!!! I was dumbfounded, I literally only took two bites but I didn’t argue with her, so I paid $16 for a piece of toast and a baby mimosa!
Unfortunately, my friends didn’t have a better experience! One ordered avocado toast and it was more like toast with an avocado spread and pico on top, two of my friends order the chicken and waffles and that was a dry waffle with chicken tenderloins (one of them had two the other had three), and my other friend got some under cooked turkey sausage with the cinnamon bun french toast (which was hard). Needless to say, I WILL...
Read moreMy friends and I(5 of us total) went to eat here because we saw the TikTok for bottomless mimosas. We get seated and we’re told they had to stop the special early because people were getting too carried away. We were disappointed, but I get it. (Unsolicited tip for The Roost; maybe put a sign out front that says such. Especially since the server said that literally everyone has been asking about the special). We still wanted to try the food because all the pics looked AMAZING! We were wrong.
Myself and one other friend ordered the chicken and waffles. That particular dish was to come with cinnamon butter on it. As you may be able to tell from the pictures of the food below, it did not. So we asked for the cinnamon butter on the side. In the picture below, that’s not butter. The waffles was extremely dry, and the sausage I had was very hard. Not to mention, my friend got 3 chicken tenders on her waffle and I only got 2. For the mimosas we did order, our server went around and asked us which juice(pineapple, orange, or cranberry) we would like for the $40 bottle of wine we purchased. It turns out all 5 of us wanted pineapple. For 5 people, they only brought out 1 standard glass of juice for us all to share. For another glass of juice, they charged us extra. One friend had under cooked turkey sausage links, one ordered a build your own egg omelette with egg whites and fresh spinach that she didn’t eat, and the last friend had nothing to report on her food.
The staff there was friendly and the atmosphere very nice but with 4 out of 5 meals being either burnt, dry, etc… I wouldn’t recommend this if someone was to ask me. I truly don’t think I’ll...
Read moreSo much potential but everything just seemed disappointing in one way or another other than flavor which was pretty good.
-cocktail was great no notes -tenderloin Benedict with biscuit and gravy seemed to have just been plopped on the equivalent of half a biscuit. Would have expected an open face biscuit with a large tenderloin pounded thin on top. Assuming that was one of their whole biscuits underneath, but other pictures don’t appear to be that way so idk I got. Picture shown is after I lifted the tenderloin/egg off the biscuit. The amount of gravy was dismal. I had to ration every bite and still barely had any for what it had to go with. the egg was over easy not medium as asked. -the well done hashbrowns look the same as every other picture, were dry/gritty tasting, and they don’t even bother to flip once to brown both sides That said, the tenderloin had a nice crisp/cook, the gravy tasted good, and the biscuit was fine. It was just overall disappointing in preparation and presentation.
-My husband ordered the pancakes with “strawberries in syrup” and it came out with some cut up strawberries plopped on top, and a smear of whipped cream that slowly melted off. No butter on the table or pancakes. Had to request the syrup which food runner quickly brought out. Then our server was MIA until we were almost done. We’re told that the syruped strawberries are no longer offered (despite being on the menu). Not to mention, $1.50 for whipped cream? Bfr
And overall there was a chilly draft in most of the place.
So much potential if you could just nail down the execution, accuracy,...
