Bagel Fair — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Maybe it’s because it’s because they are in transition, I hope it’s not the new normal .

Bagel Fair has the best bagels anywhere. This morning the kid who works there, done teenage guy was really rude when I asked if they take Apple Pay yet. They don’t take Apple pay and I really think they are behind the times and have inconvenienced me a couple of times by doing this. There is a girl who was so nice to me so I know they have good workers, but come on, this guy ruined my morning by not really paying attention to me at all when I was asking if they had Apple Pay yet. He really could make eye contact or said hi or done one thing they train people on when talking about customer service. Thanks for ruining my morning buddy!

Keep on giving me bad customer service and inconvenience and I’ll have to be sad but find a new place where they actually care about hiring better staff. I usually don’t care about customer service at all!! Look at my reviews!! I only care about the food…unless it’s so bad..it starts to seep into my food! You know...

The only real bagels (boiled bagels) I have come across in Indy. The best bagels in Indy and better than many I have has in New York or LA. Their shmears (cream cheeses) are good too. The employees are usually younger guys who are not the best ambassadors of boiled bagels but they are good overall. it seems more like they want you to know what you want.

Get there early because they run out. The bagels freeze well if you put the bagels you cannot eat same day in freezer bags. I recommend cutting them in half (separating top from bottom) before putting them in the freezer. To eat later either let them thaw at room temperature or toast them, but don't microwave them as it changes...

I move to Indianapolis from New Jersey over 6 years ago and since then I've been on a hunt to find the best bagel in Indy.

for the last 6 years I've enjoyed Broad Ripple bagels and then today while stopping for a haircut I happen to come across Bagel Fair.

I went in and ordered a poppy seed bagel with Swiss cheese and Pastrami and could not have been happier.

They make their bagels fresh in the ingredients were excellent. The customer service was excellent as well. And don't even get me started on the prices.

this has become my new go to bagel place and I will be singing his praises to anyone who asked me for a recommendation on where to get a real New York style Bagel...
