Salsa Verde is receiving one star based on the poor customer service provided by the manager. We purchased a Groupon for Salsa Verde. Our Groupon was not honored. The Groupon we purchased were for four entrees at a reasonable price. We ordered carry-out. My husband goes in to pick up the food. He comes out stating he couldn't use the Groupon, because it's for dine in only. I went back into the restaurant to get the Groupon redeemed because it does not state dine-in only. I requested to speak to the manager, only to be informed the person I was speaking to was the manager. I showed her the Groupon details. She has me to scroll up and down on my phone trying to find dine-in only. Which she did not find. I asked her to honor the Groupon we purchased. She stated she can't because she wouldn't get paid for it. She tells me to request a refund from Groupon. Requesting a refund from Groupon defeats the purpose of purchasing the Groupon. Once again, I asked her to honor the Groupon because at this point it is false advertisement. I regret not going in the restaurant first. I would not have paid for the order, if the purchased Groupon wasn't going to be honored. My husband already paid for the order and the manager did not care. She wanted to tell me this is Groupon's fault. How is this my issue? I asked her once again to honor the Groupon. Any corrections with advertisement or details should be corrected with Groupon. You lost a potential customer based on the poor customer service and not honoring a purchased Groupon. That clearly does not state dine-in only. Now for the food review. My food was not all that great. The chicken fajita quesadilla was dry. I received about 1/2 a table spoon of sour cream for four quesadillas. The queso we ordered with my daughter's chips was enough for five chips (not exaggerating). The chicken street tacos for my eldest daughter were dry as well. I will not be returning to Salsa Verde. Anytime someone mentions the restaurant, I will speak of my experience. La Hacienda and El Rodeo will...
Read moreI'm going to leave 4. I've been eating here for a long time. Always had excellent service and excellent food. Today I took a friend to eat here around 3ish. The gentleman ignored our requests for the combo, I stated I'd pay the upcharge to add chicken to the quesadilla, he brought us only cheese. neither of us ended up eating the quesadilla because it was jam packed with cheese only. I asked for a chicken enchilada with red sauce and ended up getting a beef with mole. Still delicious but not what I ordered. My friend asked for 2 sides of rice with an upcharge if needed, only got one side of rice. My rice and beans were colder than room temp. I kept looking around for the gentleman so we could get a box and our check. We couldn't find him until I looked behind the wall of tables and found him on his phone. I kept trying to get his attention and finally after the 4th time I finally did. I asked him to wait a moment so I could see how much the check was but he took it quick and ran my card multiple times even when I told him to wait because I wanted to ensure I wasn't charged the upcharges for what we asked for and didn't receive. It was the worst experience I've had here and I love this place. Maybe he needs more Training or didn't like the fact we were there. I'm not sure but it was uncomfortable and the most negative experience I've had here which was a shame. I love this place and was so looking...
Read moreSalsa Verde Mexican Restaurant is nestled in a cozy setting, this vibrant eatery offers an array of delicious Mexican dishes. As we entered the restaurant for dinner, we noticed that it was surprisingly quiet with no other diners around. Jalapeno Margaritas had refreshing tang of lime, combined with the subtle heat from the jalapenos, created a perfect balance of flavors. Veggie Fajita was a delightful medley of grilled vegetables served on a sizzling platter. The colorful array of bell peppers, onions, and other veggies were bursting with freshness, and the tantalizing aroma made our mouths water. Wrapped in warm tortillas and accompanied by a variety of toppings, the fajitas proved to be a wholesome and satisfying choice for anyone. Chicken Chimichanga was golden-fried goodness was generously stuffed with seasoned chicken, cheese, and other delectable fillings. Throughout our dining experience, Salvador, our server, provided excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our visit even more enjoyable. We would undoubtedly visit again to savor the authentic flavors of Mexico and relish the warm...
