This is the first time that my friend & I have come to Sonic & I was trying to ask for help from "Alix" about the app, & the lady "Alix", didn't want to help us & said, "That she has nothing to do with the app & can't control what's going on within the app, & are you ready to order, or not".
Like excuse me 🤔?
Sonic is this how you teach people to talk to customers?
The only thing that I did was try to get information about Sonic, from A Sonic's worker.
I'm not the one who made you upset this morning.
I've waited for years to come to this place.
I was told if you needed help with something, that you're supposed to ask.
I was only asking, because the shakes, as she continued to rudely & smartly kept correcting me & saying the original name of the item.
Everyone is from different places, & there's A way to talk to someone, because even though there's A name for things, someone may call it something else.
By this being my first time, I will admit that I called the blast, "A Milk Shake", Yet, it's like A "Mcflurry, now after trying it".
"Alix", had gotten mad about that & tried to argue me up & down & say that they don't offer shakes, & rudely stated "A Blast, Not A Shake".
So, I said the same difference at this point, because you've been completely rude the entire time.
You don't talk at someone, you talk to them.
Professionally, not rudely, or disrespectfully.
This was my first experience & the customer service was terrible.
I was going to get food, Yet I had lost my appetite the the way that "Alix" had talked to my Friend & I.
Mainly me.
My Best friend is A 58 year old lady, who couldn't believe that she was talking to me like that, especially after trying to get help from someone who works at Sonic.
Also, she didn't allow me to finish my order, she hung up the intercom quickly.
"Alix" the lady over the intercom didn't even asked what sized M&M Blast that I wanted.
She automatically charged me for A Medium, which that's fine.
Next time ask, "Alix" & have better communication & customer service.
Thank you!
She also, refused to bring my order out, she had another employee bring our food out & I told him what happened, & he just looked at me.
So, when ordering through the app, their shakes/blast aren't on showing within the app.
Only their...
Read moreI haven’t been to a Sonic in a long time because all of them had closed near my old hometown, so this was a bit of a new experience for me. I parked in a stall and ordered, the guy asked if everything looked right on the screen, to which I informed him there wasn’t anything on the screen. He read my order back to me and gave me my total. I asked if I needed to pay at that time at the stall (because nothing was on the screen, so I didn’t know) and I was either ignored or the guy had already turned his headset off. After about 5-10 minutes of waiting, and watching a single person running food out to all of the cars, I flagged her down to ask about how I was supposed to pay; she was very polite and courteous and answered my question. But then she went back inside and I kept waiting. After about 20 minutes of waiting I pressed the call button again, and somebody asked for my order. I replied that I had already ordered, and I wanted to make sure it went through since it’d been about 20 minutes. I got NO response from her. I brushed this off as they were busy and probably understaffed, and I remained patient. But after 40 minutes of waiting, I went up to the kitchen area and opened the door to see a kitchen full of people that appeared to be messing around/playing with slime, etc. I was able to get the attention of the one girl who had been running orders outside and explained to her that I’d been waiting 40 minutes and I was curious as to what the holdup had been. She looked through the screen and NO ORDER HAD BEEN ENTERED! She was apologetic and took my order there and comped it, but even after that my soft drink had been forgotten. I was very disappointed, as I had gone out of my way to go to Sonic, and it was a huge...
Read moreRevision update: 06/21/21...This is a separate time, and a different day. I have now been waiting in a stall for 30 minutes after putting in an online order. The order appeared on the screen that it was being made in the kitchen, and then that it was being delivered and then disappeared. I am still waiting here for what I ordered over a half an hour ago and I have hit the red button for assistance and that was 5 minutes ago. I just left and the total time I was there was 35 minutes for a large tot and route 44 drink. Not worth it. I recommend driving the extra 8-10 minutes down the road to the Plainfield location, unless you don't mind waiting a long time for fast food.
I don't know what's going on tonight, but I have been waiting for 20 minutes at a stall with no response to me pressing the red button. I'm going to back out and go through the drive-thru in hopes that something about this will be better. Still in line and that was 20 minutes from leaving the stall. Listen, I know everybody gets busy, but to not have the employment to be able to handle a slight rush on a Thursday is ridiculous. 45 minutes to an hour wait times on some fast food makes it to where it's not even worth the price that you pay. Only food worth that price is certainly not being served at Sonic.. Disappointing. After work and I'm on my way home to have to deal with this. They even turned the lights off before 11:00 so I'm literally in line to pick up my food and they're making me feel like an inconvenience for them to...
