I like the product itself, and will probably consider this company a contender when it’s time to purchase a sectional (just getting a sac for now) however I feel there is room for improvement in the selling process. Only one size sac was in the showroom. There were no posted prices and the pricing varies considerably with fabric choice (like $300 per chair), so I had to ask the attendant about every combination I was considering. There was nothing visually to look at and compare, so if you forgot one price you had to ask again and I felt like I was bothering her (though she was nice). I went in hoping to purchase the Moviesac in owl fur, however the darker owl fur had a very long pile and was sparse compared to the snowy owl fur. It just seemed cheap despite the cost difference. Had it been as short, dense, and soft as the lighter color I probably would have gotten it instead. Instead I went with a dark padded velvet that feels soft but isn’t what I’d been hoping for. Still really looking forward to receiving the item!
Bottom line(s), shopping experience not designed for introverts or those who prefer written material. Products are unique and innovative in design. Product selection in store limited to one sectional, one normal sac, and one hammock type sac. I love that the covers are machine washable. Not all owl furs are...
Read moreThe staff at Lovesac were professional, very knowledgeable of their product and great to work with. I only give them four stars because when asked to delay the delivery, they told me that could be done once FedEx, their shipper, notifies me of the order and then it is as simple as requesting a vacation hold for up to 14 days. What they failed to tell me was there is a process to establish a FedEx Delivery Manager account on-line, yet it takes several days for you to receive a code through the mail - what?! This process is not efficient and my shipment is already in process to deliver so I spent hours trying to speak with a FedEx representative (a human) to hold it for a week until after my construction crew were done with the work.. I don’t blame Lovesac for FedEx’s process required to put a shipment on hold nor for their poor customer support process that makes it difficult to get past the virtual assistant, but I wish they would be knowledgeable on their shipper’s process so I could have proactively set up the account and not go through the frustration, stress and angst in trying to put a minimal hold on delivery. At this point I’m not sure if it will arrive prior to the construction starts or after as requested … fingers crossed as I have no room...
Read moreThere's something extra special to say about their service here. Not only are the lovesacs themselves very cool with their design (I've yet to have one person come over who didn't look up lovesac before they left my place), but their customer service is in a league of their own.
After spending a good $2K on a couch here, we were a little upset that one of the ribbons broke on the clamps that keep the couch together. (This is actually a very important ribbon). However, I went to the mall for a completely unrelated reason and saw the store, so I decided to walk in and ask them if I could purchase another clamp. Explained the situation, they admitted that they never heard of that happening before, verified that I had purchased a couch from them in the past based on my email, and even without picture proof or without the clamp there in person...gave me one free of charge before I left the store. That's just epic. I felt like a queen. Problem that deals with warranty fixed same day at a FURNITURE STORE?...
