Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Indianapolis

It's a Starbucks in a Target so there's convenience built in. Hard to beat it on that alone and you start at a few stars easily.

However, there were a couple of young ladies (likely teens) running the show when I visited and one of them didn't even know how to load the napkin holders. I had to show how. They were pleasant and smiley young girls and they gladly took the ad hoc training but management needs to step it up a notch with training the staff apparently. Little things matter.

Atmosphere wise, they really could've done more to the seating area to make it more warm and inviting. Maybe some different flooring and warmer furniture than aluminum chairs? Just try is all I'm saying.

Otherwise, the rest was in line with what you'd expect at...

In general the emplyees are just ok. They don’t make a real effort to be friendly or smile. This past weekend was a little worse. There were two employees working. Wasn’t busy when I arrived. Neither of the employees acknowledged my presence by even saying that they would be with me in a moment. Just completely ignored me. Then when one of the employees finally came over, his customer service skills left a lot...

I've been here a couple of times. The employees didn't seem to have a tremendous grasp on the food menu items, as I had to get back to them both times to get them to correct the deliverables. On the plus side, I didn't feel like they were crossing a line by asking me personal questions and trying to get to know me, something that seems to be an issue at many of Starbucks...
