Starbucks — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Don't waste your time here like we did! My kids love Starbucks so we thought we'd get a drink after shopping at the mall. Although the line was long, it moved quickly. And the guy behind the register was friendly and kind. However, after waiting almost 20 minutes for my drinks, I asked the lady (large black lady with 2 braids, red ends) if she knew how much longer my drink would be. We had received 3 out of our 4 drinks and people behind us were getting theirs. She turned to me and snapped and said they were busy and she couldn't get to everybody. She didnt ask my name nor what my drink was. I wasn't demanding or rude. Simply wondering if I was next or if they even had my next ticket. Plus, your job is LITERALLY to "get to everybody"! You need to make EVERY customers order!! After waiting another 10 minutes I went back in line and asked for a refund. At that point the guy behind the register asked her where our ticket was. She then said she never got it. We waited 30 minutes for a mango dragonfly refresher!!! Finally another guy there just said he would make it but they wouldn't give me my money back. The drink they finally gave us was cleay NOT what we ordered and waited for. Regretfully, we took it and left. The lack of hospitality and the rudeness of the large lady with the braids is reason enough for me to NEVER return to...

I am disappointed in this location. It used to be good. The last 4 times I have gone my order has not been correct. I ask for whip cream my drink. Who ever makes my drink doesn't add it. The first 3x's I've been in a hurry so I haven't said anything. (Today 11/5/23) My drink sticker says whip cream. (LIKE IT ALWAYS DOES) The briastas seem to be missing it. I did ask for whip cream. She did add it to my drink after I mentioned it to her. The attention to detail has not been happening. Plus the bristas I say thank you, and most of the time. No one usially says you're welcome back. I know they can hear me. I say it loud enough for all to hear, because I appreciate there work and want to put a smile on there face. I love Starbucks, and I frequent this place in particular because it's so close to my job. The service is good, everyone is incredibly friendly and very helpful when it comes to me asking questions. They are patient and always get my order correct.

However, my one qualm is they need to hire more people. Drinks often take way too long to come out and you can tell the employees are stressed out probably due to understaffing. Me, and several others, had to wait about 15 minutes for a single drink, and though it was clear the baristas were hustling, they simply did not have enough people to keep up with the line.

I like this Starbucks, but I wouldn't recommend going there if you are in a rush because you will...
