Wendy's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

UPDATE: Below review was 2 months ago. Sometimes I forget when I've made a decision not to go back to a restaurant... but this time today was even worse! The same lady as before took the order of both the customers in front of me, and mine. Again, she never smiled, welcomed us, or thanked us. She was very curt and blunt with her words, never making a complete sentence. Then, when the orders were ready, they were mixed up! I got half the previous person's order, and they got half of mine. We tried to explain three times that the orders were mixed up and gor them to set them right, but the African-American man for some reason couldn't understand what we were very simply stating. The African-American lady then came up, huffed loudly, and said in a very rude voice, "I'll do it!" But the griller was one that finally came up and sorted out the trays of food.

My Baconator was undercooked, but I didn't want yo deal with the employee's rudeness and attitudes again, so I just threw it away. While I ate my fries and nuggets, two employees went outside to smoke, then came back in smelling like marijuana. And indeed, when I left, there having been NO other people to walk thru the entryway after the employees, the entryway reeked of marijuana smell.

I have to remember to stop coming here... and nobody else should either. This location used to be one of my fave's when I lived here because the food was always fresh-tasting, and the employees were always friendly and smiling.

Haven't been here in over 2 years. And I won't be coming back to this location! First, the African-American lady with white dreadlocks at the counter was quite rude to me, never smiling, and I had to repeat myself several times. Everytime we had a disagreement she would huff and walk away, asking a manager to deal with me. She charged me initially for a jr frosty when it was supposed to be free with my Keychain tag. She gave me the wrong dipping sauce when I had stated twice which one I wanted. When the receipt didn't print, she just said it's not working, but I require one fir tax purposes as a delivery driver. She got mad and walked away, and the manager came up and within 5 seconds had my receipt printed. The manager had to come up twice, and he never smiled or apologized. And neither did she. I had requested it for "here", snd she had bagged it to go, halfway throwing it towards me on the counter.

But the disappointment didn't end there... I ordered a crispy chicken blt biggie bag. The fries were mostly overcooked and overly salty. The Crispy chicken itself tasted dry as if it had been sitting under a hot lamp for way too long, and had to taste to it, and the bacon was overcooked and hard. The only thing that was decent were the nuggets.

Again, I will never be ordering from this...

This was a very well put together store! Everyone was very pleasant and polite to me! So, in return, I was also! My meal was extremely delicious from this location. 😋 I'm not sure if it was because I had not eaten all day up to this point, or if it was just that good! So, I must go back to find this out. 😆 Seriously though, it was a wonderful experience. At the Wendy's on stop 11, close to the library. Let me tell you! My sandwich was so good the meat was cooked so well, just a little dark, but not burnt! The pickle was placed just perfectly, and there were not too many pickles! They gave my Dave's single the perfect crunch with the lettuce. I was actually blown away by the lettuce. Due to the fact it was even on there. I mean, the store on harding near Eli Lilly doesn't even have lettuce. "Due to the shortage." (Although u can go to the grocery store and find a whole head of it for a dollar!)

Back to my wonderful meal, though. Then I had a small fry, and It was perfectly salted, not too much salt either and not too little! They proceeded in a very timely manner. They were a friendly bunch! I'm telling you this location was on point ! ! !

And for that, I thank you, Wendy's. I thank you for your hard work and for bringing my faith back into Wendy's. I honestly had almost written Wendy's off forever. Now, I know which location to go to! So, that won't be happening. I don't want to either, because I just love the story of wendy and dave! Especially how the mother is included within Wendy's collar fluff. It's just such a sweet thing. Staff and management are rude. I got home today after picking up my order only to bite into my chicken sandwich and it was raw. Tried calling the store sand they keep their phone off the hook to not have to answer. This is not the first or second time I have an issue at this location and can't even call them. Half the time they are out of items like nuggets, coke, condiments, and burgers. This location needs all new staff including management. When you reach out to customer service or the district manager no one reaches out. Hope I don't get sick from eating this.

Update: After contacting customer service I still have not heard back after serving raw chicken. I decided to give them another chance tonight 11/01/24 and they have not improved what so ever. This evening they were out of cheese. They made me sit in the window for 17 min while they got the order ready which was a mobile pick up order. The fries were stale like they had been sitting there for about an hour. The guy at the window was moving at the speed of the sloth in the movie zootopia. As I am finally ready to leave I asked for 2 sweet n sours. The guys hands me one and tells me you have enough. There is one in the bag. I had 3 meals. I really hope this is one of the restaurants that is shut down. They can't get it right. The manager that is there in the evening is rude and gets in your face.
