The first three times I went after moving to Indy they have done the following: screwed up my order twice, taken an egregious of time, and been incredibly disrespectful. 1st time I went I got a 20 piece nugget and they only gave me 10. Second time I asked for a large number 2, but got a medium drink and medium fries. This food was colder than my ex-girlfriend's heart. Despite my receipt saying large. Chalk this up to about ~$7.50 in loss. Finally, the third trip: As I drove down the calamity of a road known as 86th street I saw the friendly, smiling face of the Wendy's logo. Little did I know how unpleasant this trip would be. I arrive at the Drive-Thru and see a line longer than that of an iPhone release. "** me", I says to myself. My head said McDonald's, but my stomach said Wendys. Instead, I persevered like a surviving imigrant in a Concentration Camp. My internal dialogue continued, "Their is not a snowball's chance in hell this food could be bad for a 3rd time." I should have gone to the Shell Station and bought a lottery ticket because it turned out to be a cold day in hell. I roll up to the drive-thru order like Ilena's cousin in Menace II Society. I place my vehicle in park and wait. And wait.... "Hello?", I say. I wait one minute... nothing. "Hello?" I say, this time a little more furious. Finally, I say again "ANYONE THERE!?". Finally, an angry man, similar to that Wallace Shawn's character in The Princess Bride retorted back with a blitzkrieg of cuss words and rudeness. I shake it off. My hunger for Wendy's outweighs how offended I am by his words. My burning passion for not letting people get over on me wins the day, however. I be sure to tell him before shifting the car to Drive, "Your going to have to see me at the window, you know that?". I arrive at the window and see the man with a scowl that could cut a rock in yellow stone. He demands my payment method. I hand him a giftcard with the delicacy of a fairy, but he rips it from my grasps like a ravage wolverine. I wait and wait and he finally hands me back my payment and food. Of course, food was cold. I will never return to Wendy's at...
Read moreI absolutely love Wendy's, so I was so happy when I moved to this area of Indy and had one nearby. One night I decided I wanted to try their taco salad and get a frosty. Well. They were fairly friendly at the window especially towards my pup who was traveling with me (I'm giving the extra star for this), so I thought, hey, this is off to a great start. Obviously I had my pup in the car so it was basically impossible to check all my food was correct without his nose being halfway down in the bag, so I decided to just glance then head on home. I got home and the frosty was vanilla (I'd ordered chocolate). I checked the taco salad and I had chips (great), lettuce (great), chili (great, although tasted absolutely awful), andddd... A fork. Yea, I was missing about 50% of the salad I just paid for. Without sour cream and cheese it wasn't of much appeal to me, so I gave up there.
I decided to give them another shot after a few months. Same experience with the customer service (was decent), but my chicken sandwich tasted very funky. I just can't give them another shot, I'll drive the extra time for the Michigan road or Zionsville locations if I want...
Read moreDear Management,
Although the workers here were somewhat nice, their professional etiquette was non-existent. The manager on duty at the time may have been training new staff at the time but their ability to greet the customer was below average. I’m not upset at the workers, because it appears that the quality of majority of the fast food industry is on an extreme decline. I figured after leaving from the Georgetown location that this location may be a step up and they were, but when I ordered my food, I asked for no salt on the fries, a fresh Dave’s Single burger and fresh nuggets. I even asked/paid for a Junior Frosty, but they gave me a Large one instead…
The Dave’s Single appeared as if it had been on the counter all day, and the nuggets appeared to be stale as well. Highly disappointing and a waste of money.
Please make the appropriate changes or this location will continue to simply waste &...
