As long as I’ve lived in this area, this was my first visit to Bravo’s. When I visited, the restaurant was not very busy. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and was a bit overwhelmed by the many choices of food, trying to decide if I wanted a burger or chicken. The menu offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner selections. The most popular selections are printed in bold font on the menu including Bravo’s Omelette, The Daily Breakfast Special, Bravo’s Breakfast Burrito, Veggie Burrito, Grilled Bacon & Cheese Sandwich, Quesadillas, Pastrami Chili Cheese Burrito, Carne Asada Fries, Chicken Breast Salad, Chicken Strips Salad, Chicken Wing Dinner, Shakes and Menudo. The Breakfast section boasts over 24 different items. I ordered “to go” and went with the Chicken Acapulco dinner with a lemonade. The dinner included a half chicken, rice and beans, salad, and tortillas. The drink is not included with the meal. Total price for meal and drink was under $20.00. Most patrons that came in while I waited had called in their orders and picked them up. My wait time was less than 30 minutes. When I got home, I went through some mail and washed my hands before eating. The food was packaged with two containers, condiments- salsa and dressing, and knife/fork/napkin. The smaller container was for the salad and the larger container for hot food. I opened the hot food container and there were ample portions of piping hot food. Love that! I tried the rice and beans first- very tasty. The chicken was grilled thoroughly. The skin was tasty, the meat could have been seasoned a bit more, but overall it was very good. The tortillas were nice and warm, wrapped in foil. While eating, my body felt as if I were eating real food. For someone who eats fast food way too much, it was a welcomed experience. I thought to myself, this is what El Pollo Loco must have been like before it became franchised. The restaurant is clean and neat. The establishment is supported by the local neighborhood. Will definitely go back to try...
Read moreI Bought a chicken salad for lunch. As I was eating it I noticed a small hair. Took it out and proceeded to eat it. (I know) As I as eating more I saw another dark hair that was stuck to the chicken. I removed the chicken and again proceeded to eat it.
ONE AGAIN I found another hair at the bottom of the container inter the lettuce. I showed my co workers what I had found. I got so grossed out and threw it away!
I called Bravo’s to let them know that I want my money back for this. The girl who answered put me on hold and a Hispanic guy answered tells me that I need to bring the item back. I THREW IT AWAY! He tells me to dig it up from the trash so he can see the “evidence” I asked to speak with his boss, he tells me he won’t be in until Friday. I asked what his bosses name is and he wouldn’t give it to me and said he will tell his boss to call me. But kept refusing to give me his bosses name.
This isn’t the first time that I’ve had a issue with their food. But since I work close to it and I wanted a salad I figured I would give it another try. Boy was I wrong! I will never go there again! They have the worst customer service ever. How dare he speak to me the way he did and tell me to dig up the food from the trash so he...
Read moreBravo's was recommended to us by a lovely person who said her wife mentioned the place to her, and it was very close to the LAX car rental office we needed to return our car to. (It was maybe 2 miles away at most.)
Parking was impossible, so we parked in the laundromat across the street and just watched in amazement as folks streamed in and out. That alone told us we had found another food heaven in LA.
We choose the western burger, patty melt, fries, and onion rings. I noticed they offered a chili relleno plate, so I asked if I could have just a single chili relleno. I was thrilled to hear a happy yes! The food was exquisite, the portions were ample, and the service was fast, friendly, and efficient.
If you love burgers like we love burgers, do yourself a FLAVOR and try Bravo's. You won't be...
