El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Inglewood

I rarely leave any bad reviews especially at fast food places since I don’t really expect much but my experience here today was by far the worst! First off, the inside was kind of dirty and the salsa bar was a mess. It was also missing two salsa containers and nobody bothered to fill them up again. Second, I used the restroom there which was kind of dirty, there weren’t any paper towels, and no soap inside the soap dispenser at all! And also it took 20 minutes to get my order and there were other people around me waiting for their orders as well. I understand when a place gets busy but today there was no reason for them to be super slow. There was no line at all and there were three people working in the kitchen and one cashier so they had the ability to get my order ready in 5 to 10 minutes and the drive-through was closed as well. When I finally get my food after 20 minutes it turned out that it was already sitting out on the kitchen counter and whoever put it there didn’t bag it up and instead clocked out to lunch. When the other cashier that replaced him gave me my food he didn’t even offer to heat it up or to exchange it for a new one at that point I was so fed up and in a hurry because my lunch hour was about to finish so I decided to just take it without saying a word. And to make everything worse they forgot to put a spoon inside my bag for my order of mac & cheese and I found out until I had already returned at my office and obviously I wasn’t going to head back just to ask for a freaking spoon. One more thing what’s up with the new creamy cilantro packets? Those things are straight up disgusting and they don’t taste the same as the ones that used to come inside the small plastic cups. The consistency of the sauce inside those green packets is more watery and it tastes like pure vinegar yuck! Get rid of those and stick with the ones that would come in the plastic cups! I’m going to try to avoid coming back at this specific location after this experience the only time I’ll probably head back here would be to use my free points through the app....

My family and I waited in the drive-thru line for 30 min, with 4 cars ahead of us when we first pulled in. There were only three people sitting inside the restaurant. We ordered taquitos, but when we got our food they gave us three tacos. I bought a salad that didn't have any dressing on it. We drove back to the restaurant, and they had already locked the doors at 9:43 PM, when they close at 10:00 PM. A woman opened the door and told me they were closed, but I asked if I could just get some dressing since my salad was dry and she informed me that they had already run out of the cilantro dressing for the night. Firstly, the staff was rude and ambivalent. Secondly, they gave a salad without any dressing because they ran out of it. They should have told me when I ordered the salad so I could have gotten something different. I am not one to write reviews, especially about a fast-food restaurant since it seems petty. However, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in the hospitality environment and I hope management will take note it of it, since this kind of service is horrendous and I hope never to...

Hi there My name is Joy. I m big fan of our great El Pollo loco restaurants since I born I loved. I live in Orange County so El pollo loco are everywhere. This is first time ever I had bad experience with this store employee! I was order simple el pollo bowl asked red sauce or hot sauce so politely the lady shut window on my face I wait 2/3 minutes to get her attention finally she come close to window I said please I need some hot sauce! She was so upset and rude behavior! Unfortunately it’s happened. I parked my car and went inside to asked manager so she is the manager!! I asked her am I did anything bad behavior?Why shut the window on my face? The Other employee asked to me back up!!! Wow! I have a video clips time I thought i m going to post it but I haven’t done yet. I want corporate office or Management to check surveillance video will know how they treated me.
