Ilobasco Restaurant — Restaurant in Inglewood

WORST PLACE TO EAT IN LA PERIOD!!!!!!! Went in there with my 3 kids and the waitress seemed so out of it she seemed so unhappy and disturbed. My appetizers never came, Our food took about 30 min to reach our table. My child’s food came out 20 min after all the other food was served. In total an hour passed before we all received our food. The lemonade was just water no lemons, and she didn’t come to check up on us not even once, after it was all said and done and we asked for a to go order, we waited another 30 min and when it was done, she TOSSED it at us, I was so mad but we still left her tip because me and my family are nice people, I will NEVER step foot into this restaurant ever in my life, I would rather eat dirt then eat at this place ever again....

If you're not a Spanish speaker you might struggle a Lil here however the hospitality and service are impeccable. The food fabulous the ladies enchanting. An grandmother came up to our table and was giving out samples of oranges and mangoes. She was selling them across the street. She was explaining it and my nephew said "I understand" in English. She asked him in Spanish. What do you understand?? He didn't. I explained what she asked of him (because he said it) and so he unpacked what he was able to glean for her, in English, then got back to his duolingo practice until his food arrived. Thankful for the lady. She undergirded my nephew. It takes a village. Grace and Peace and good eats. Check them out. ...

Stopped by here for some PUPUSAS!!! They are only $2.75 each and they are HUGE. The only other time I have had these things were in the Mission, and ever since I have been tryiing to look for a place that is closer to where I live. I have since found this gem and cannot wait to come back. I had the zucchini and cheese, chicken and cheese, and I believe a pork and cheese one. I got it togo. Each one is wrapped individually to stay warm. When I unwrapped it, it was still warm and gooey and cheesy. Super soft. Greasy. But delicious.

They also give you the cabbage salad which is also very fresh and delicious. I wish they gave an extra salsa though. I will come back...
