Sofia's Bakery — Restaurant in Inglewood

If I could give zero stars I would. Tonight I bought a tres leches SLICE of cake, not only do they charge 50 cents for using your card, the cake itself was expensive. Six dollars for the slice of cake!!! Yes the portion is big but it is an absolutely terrible cake. I guarantee the cake itself is stale cake that doesn't sell and they use that to make the 3 leches cake since it's going to be soaking in milk anyway. It's absolutely disgusting. The crumbs is hard and stale. Not soft at all. When I walked in the store, I greeted the lady that was sweeping and she completely ignored me. She didnt even look up to acknowledge that a customer had walked in. Terrible service terrible product. Will absolutely not be back. Waste of almost 7 dollars. $6.50 total for the stale slice of 3 leches cake. Also, it was way too sweet. I threw the entire thing...

We ordered a cake days in advance and paid in full! They took our money and left us with no cake, they had no common courtesy to contact us and tell us that they didn't have a cake made for us. They had us waiting over 2 hrs for a cake they never made and we drove 2 hours in traffic to this place. The so called manager over the phone and all the employees and this place were just unprofessional. If you want Sofia's bakery to ruin any special occasion and steal your money then choose this place. I'd go to another bakery with better service! The price for the cakes they make have gone up so much and the cakes keep getting smaller and with the terrible service, our family will never return. Rather make the drive to Porto's where they actually service and don't steal your money and leave you without a cake....

Went to bakery to get some goodies, but when arriving at locación. Employees were rude. Saying only 2 person per household. Ww did not complain when we were told this. Which made no sense when there was noone inside the place it was half an hr when they were going to close. They then were rude trying to hurry us up to order. When one of my family member had to go out and we had to ask which bread she wanted. The lady was super rude to us. 1st time coming by the place after more than 7 yrs. We needed time to look thru all their products because they so have many. The bread was no good. The 3 leche was grainy, too sugar. We bought some cookies that were terrible.
