Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Inman

Welcome to The Duck! Great to have you in Boiling Springs - talked briefly to the owner - 10 years in the making!! Thanks for your tenacity! The Duck brand is alive and well. For the uninitiated, this is a custom donut joint, so don't be thinking you're walking into Dunkin with case of donuts laying there. Took some time for two of us to get a donut (as in 1), but that's because they frost it right there...this is not a service problem, it's part of the model that makes Duck so unique. Standard Duck seating space - not a huge dining room, so probably not a place to come read a book and chill for an hour or two, but you just can't beat Duck Donuts for fresh and flavor (that's a cookie butter cream and a blueberry pancake pictured). Overall the donut is fresh but they smaller than Krispy Kreme, and they do cost a lot more than Krispy Kreme as well. I tried the cookies and cream doughnut, and that's what I normally get from Krispy Kreme. To be honest, I don't think it's worth it because it's like $12 for a half dozen at Duck Donuts. But you can get a full dozen at Krispy Kreme for $12, and for us, we normally get two dozen. So I don't think it's worth it for us. Maybe if you're wanting to indulge in something, you can get two for $5, but still, that's really expensive. I would go back if they were little bigger for the price tag. Would I recommend yes and no depending on how many you are getting and how much you are wanting to spend. I feel like I was extremely fair in making this decision. I hope everyone at least...

WOOOOW. My wife dropped in here Saturday morning bright and early. The kids had came in the living room wanting something sweet but we did not feel like driving to the other side of town to Krispy Kreme. So my wife decided to drop in here and wow!! These donuts are 10 times better than Krispy Kreme they are made to order. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome. We grabbed a dozen glazed donuts and a dozen customization donuts and every single freaking one was phenomenal. The options are limitless both boxes we're annihilated I mean absolutely eliminated. This is our new go to for doughnuts. The dough is almost pancake like nice and thick but so soft the french toast doughnut was so dang good. We will be back this weekend haha...
