Rude! Rude! Rude! customer service. We have tried them 2 tries and that was 2 too many! What a waste of time and money! From the outside, such a cute little place. From the inside, the workers are angry and should not be working with the public the way my daughter and I were treated. After the first time, we just thought it was an off day for the worker. But after returning again a few weeks later, we were treated even worse than the first time. I’m sorry we gave them another chance! I am being 100% honest that I have never been treated this badly ever from a public place. I’m shocked how busy they always are! I wouldn’t go back there if what we order was free! That is how bad we were treated! The first time we visited this place I walked in first and my daughter was carrying her 5 pound ESA dog in a carrying bag. Her dog is tiny, short hair, sound asleep, not making a noise. We were just stopping in quick to grab a yummy roll as I have seen many pictures of and was excited to try. As I opened the door and walked in, my daughter, hadn’t even stepped foot into this place, and she was screamed at rudely, “No Dogs!” She was not even inside yet. And mind you, the place is packed! The patio was packed! All the tables were full! And there’s barely any standing room when you walked in. So how embarrassing for us! A few weeks later, we decided to try it again as I said before thinking it was just an off day. Again, the place was very busy! We stood in the crowded entryway for what seemed like a very long time. When it was our turn to order, my daughter asked if we could get two baguette sandwiches. The lady barked back at her and said “what you see out is all we have.” Which is pretty crazy because we were there at noon and on the menu there were a few different kind of baguette sandwiches. So being that it is a bakery it is crazy that they are out of baguettes at noon. But we were fine with that. My daughter simply said “thank you. It’s all good.”And then walked away. I was right behind her asking if she wanted anything else as we were walking away, I heard the very rude lady behind the counter yell to the crowded customers waiting behind us, “And watch her storm out!” For one, we did not storm out! It was so crowded in there and we had waited a very long time for the sandwiches. We were not there for any sweets. For two, they were so crowded of course we just wanted to get out of the way so the other customers could order. How rude for the lady behind the counter to complain about a customer to the other customers! In my 50 yearsI have never ever seen this happen or had this happen to me. If you want a wedding cake that’s anything but basic, DeLuxe is your place! There are so many flavors to choose from — or, like we did, you can mix and match four different ones. Our cake was layered, moist, and the frosting was not that gross whipped topping stuff you get at some places. The cutting cake was absolutely beautiful, decorated with fresh flowers, perfectly blending our vision with the baker’s creative flair.

Now, let me tell you about the lemon raspberry cake… I was talking about it for MONTHS before the wedding! Seriously, it was that good.

From the initial tasting and consultation, the staff was super accommodating. We got to sample tons of different cake flavors alongside coffee and tea, which made the whole process so fun. The owner is amazing — friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about guest favorites and portioning, which helped us plan just right (hello, leftovers!).

Day-of delivery? Seamless. We even dropped off extra florist stems the day before, and they were flexible and easygoing about timing. On the big day, the delivery was so quick and smooth that we didn’t even get a chance to thank the baker — that’s efficiency!

Pro tip for future couples: Don’t stress about saving the top tier for your anniversary because DeLuxe provides a complimentary one. No more dry, freezer-burned cake! Plus, the bakery itself is adorable — a cute pink and white French-inspired spot with plenty of menu options to satisfy every sweet tooth. We make a point to stop by whenever we’re back in town.

Changed my previous 5 star to 4 and posted you something helpful to apply to your business and you didn’t seem to care! Now, I don’t think you even deserve a 1 star review. 1/7/2024, I look up and it says business opens 8-2. I get in my car and drive 20 minutes each direction to find that bakery is closed for winter break and you didn’t seem to care at all about my previous update about changing your hours on google to close so you don't waste other people’s time!!! 4 people including myself walked away upset and frustrated at 8:07 AM. I personally don’t wish to come back ever and support your business because you don’t seem to care for my valuable time and my money!!!!

Update: please update your google hours so people don’t get in their cars on Sunday and drive there with their family to find a sheet of paper on the door saying closed! This has happened a few more times in the past to us here to consider updating my previous review and take a star out from my original review! It only takes a minute to update it on your business account! Currently on Sunday 10/22/2023 your door has a posted note saying CLOSED but google shows you are open! There were at least another four upset customers at the same time we were there!
