Polly's — Restaurant in Iron Mountain

Upstairs bartender was sweet as can be! Downstairs was busier, but manageable. (Coming from someone who has worked in the industry my whole life.) They just didn’t have someone on that could keep up… The bartender asked us what we’d like, told him we wanted 3 shots (same shot for all, nothing difficult ) and then proceeded to help others and never served us. We ended up walking out and leaving after 10 minutes of waiting. Suggestion: Have better bartenders in the busy area!

Edit: After the response from the business owner suggesting we stayed upstairs to drink, the reply is that there were customers all at the bar and it was an all around uncomfortable place to be. And as a bartender, once you take someone’s order, you make their drink… not go to another customer that came up after you, and then kept ignoring us when we DID try to get his attention. So now to add the post, the business owner is rude also. Down to 1...

The atmosphere was great sitting at the bar (with a bartender right there) until I started asking around about food. All the regulars at the bar told me all the places that delivered food, so i ordered a pizza. Pizza got delivered very fast (thanks blackstone) and i guess the manager walked up to me just as fast and told me it wasnt allowed. I honestly thought she was joking until i said "I guess I have to leave" and she said "sorry, but we serve our own pizzas here". Word of advise, if you serve food and your bartender and your regulars dont know it, then you have a serious signage problem. Not to mention, not 1 single review mentions food, nor does the menu on google show anything but drinks. You just lost someone who spent 100 tonight and would have likely spent more in the coming nights since this town only has 12 bars. Good luck lady. Next time offer a menu...
