So Arwa was next up on my current journey to read the holy Bible at different coffee shops as a NON coffee drinker. Simply looking for nice environments that are fairly quiet to read and enjoy a nice sweet treat or non-coffee beverage. Service and atmosphere 5 stars! I got a slice of their pistachio cake and it was just okay but the drink I chose was the star of the show! 5 stars. Again I'm not really a coffee drinker. I don't really like the way it tastes or the way it smells lol In 2020 I decided to see what the coffee craze was all about and started trying different drinks. Coffee just isn't for me. Anyway after looking at their menu the ingredients of the Sand Dune latte really piqued my interest. Honey, vanilla, caramel, and cardamom with 2 expresso shots but i just got one shot. It was quite delightful. I would get this again! Low on the coffee taste just as I had hoped. If you've ever had a chai latte which is tea not coffee, it reminds me of that. It might vary wildly from day to day but this day i went it was so loud. No one even made any attempts to keep the noise level to a minimum. So just an fyi If it's hard for you to study in loud environments. It might not be that way here every day, you'll just have to...
Read moreArwa Coffee is an absolute gem in Irving! The architecture alone is worth the visit — modern, elegant, and incredibly spacious, which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or just unwinding solo. There's plenty of parking too, which is rare and so appreciated, especially in the South.
We always go for the Adani Chai — it's our go-to favorite and never disappoints. Honestly, who needs other chai when the drinks here are this consistent and delicious, right? This time, we also tried the pistachio cake, and wow... chef’s kiss. Soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. Biscoff latte is super delicious and I love it.
The vibe is lively, especially late at night. It’s definitely a happening spot where the energy picks up as the evening rolls in. It’s on our list of must-visit cafes every time we’re in the area.
Next time, I'm excited to try the four traditional drink samplers — such a fun idea — and the Arwa Signature Palm Latte, which looks amazing.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique coffee experience with great ambiance, desserts, and drinks that keep you...
Read moreHonestly, Arwa drinks are just way too sweet for my taste. Every time I try one, it feels like I'm sipping on straight sugar—it’s overwhelming. I get that some people love that kind of intense sweetness, but for me, it’s just too much. It’s almost like they’re trying to send me into a sugar coma with every sip! Because of that, I find myself avoiding it altogether. I’ve given it a few chances, hoping maybe the recipe changed or I’d come around to liking it, but it’s always the same—just overly sugary. I much prefer drinks with a more balanced flavor, something refreshing without making me feel like I’ve just had dessert. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that Arwa has its fans, and it’s clearly popular with people who enjoy sweeter beverages. But for someone like me, who leans more toward light and crisp drinks, it’s not really a go-to choice. That’s why I rarely visit or pick it up anymore. I’d rather go for something that feels more natural and less overpowering. So unless they come out with a less sweet version, I’ll probably keep...
