I visited Nick the Greek for the first time and dined on a colddddddddd day! Kristina, the assistant manager, was there and recommended I try the gyro bowl. I got the gyro bowl with chicken and pita bread. I asked about some of the protein options and what they were. I received nothing but help. I tried the falafel, which was different but still pretty tasty. The gyro bowl was so good and soooo filling!! I had three sauces to try- a spicy sauce, tzatziki, and a (honey?) mustard. They were good with the falafel, and the spicy sauce on the gyro bowl took it to another level! I have dined at C-A-V-A before and always get the chicken and rice bowl. For about the same price and similar ingredients, you get more at Nick. I ate slightly less than half a bowl at Nick’s and I never have leftovers at C-A-V-A, although I do get full. This is not a diss because C-A-V-A is still good, but for the money I’d rather buy a bowl from here. I also had two beverages and a dessert. My favorite drink was the mandarin cardamom, and I also tried a Greek drink, Loux, sour cherry juice. It tastes very good and was great for sipping. Lastly, the baklava was so good with the chocolate drizzle and the honey! All in all, I rate 5 stars and will absolutely come back!! Kristina was the best, super kind and helpful, and give her a raise!

The establishment was small, but it looked new, clean and well-organized. The tables and chairs were clean and neat. The only restroom was clean. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. Chicken Souvlaki Pita (Double Meat with pork) - several pieces of meat with one stick of chicken skewer and one stick of pork skewer, one tomato slice, some lettuce and diced onion and a few french fries wrapped in the pita flatbread. The presentation was good and tasted very delicious. The meat was tender. Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita - several sliced meat, one tomato slice, few french fries wrapped in the pita flatbread. The Gyro, overall, looked good and well-wrapped. The temperature of the meat was warm and correct. The Gyro tasted good, delicious and well-seasoned.

I had a great dining experience at Nick the Greek, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly captures the vibrant spirit of Greek culture. The decor is beautifully styled, blending traditional elements with modern touches.

The menu offers an impressive array of authentic Greek dishes, each crafted with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. I tried the grilled souvlaki, which was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the moussaka, layered with rich, flavorful bĆ©chamel sauce. The gyro platter was also a standout—full of juicy, succulent meat wrapped in warm pita with fresh herbs and toppings.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the friendly and attentive service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend dishes. The overall ambiance was lively yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions.

If you're craving delicious Greek cuisine in a welcoming environment, Nick the Greek is the place to go. I left feeling satisfied and eager to...

Nick The Greek…where shall I start! The Greek salad was so good… fresh cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and feta cheese and spices. This salad was gone before I got home. Then there is the hummus and pita bread: the slight burnt essence on the bread set the notes for the hummus. The rice, oh the rice…so good and flavorful!! I have never had a bowl of rice that I thoroughly enjoy as this rice at Nick the Greek! The beef and lamb gyro sandwich was equally delicious as well. We drove all the way to Irving, TX to try Nick the Greek because my son had a tiny bit of gyro meat left from a sandwich he had gotten; and, I just had to have him take me there today. So good; I was inspired to write this review. No matter where you live, if you want a great Greek meal freshly made, go to Nick the Greek in Irving, Texas. I promise you’ll enjoy the delicious food and great customer service! Aaaannndddd!!!They are very...
