yesterday was my 2nd time visiting here, and I will absolutely say that the place has only improved since then. I started with the strawberry milk tea + tapioca pearls, and oh my goodness was it AMAZING! the milk tea felt so freshly made, it was smooth, creamy, and sweeter than ever. they even added actual cut up strawberries into the milk tea which further enhanced the flavor! the tapioca pearls were also delicious, they had an immaculate sweet coffee taste to them. overall, the milk tea was a 10/10. next on my list was an order of egg rolls (I don't remember what kind, I believe it was pork + shrimp). these were SO crispy and the way they were fried was just so clean looking. they also tasted amazing, but when you pair it with the sauce they give, it turns even more delicious. they came with lettuce and a bit of shredded carrot, which made well for combining all of them together. another straight 10/10 for these egg rolls. for my last order, it was none other than the pho. I got the brisket pho and added jalapeno, bean sprout, lime, chili sauce, and hoisin sauce. when I tell you this was just perfect, I mean it. this bowl had flavor like no other, just bursts of flavor in your mouth. it was absolutely delectable, and only tasted better with the additional toppings added to it. the noodles were a perfect chewy texture, the brisket cooked near perfectly in the broth, and the onions that came with it added a good balance. they gave LOTS of broth, which felt good to drink until about 3 minutes in, which by then it got spicy lol. (that's on my end, though). I give this yet again another 10/10, I'll come back just for the brisket again! the establishment also had a really nice, loving elderly woman serving us for the night. she was truly charming, offering us amazing service while also cracking a few hilarious jokes at my picky siblings. the overall rating? 10, 100, 1000/10. this comfy spot is a must-visit if you're looking for some fast, delicious vietnamese food.

I was about to give 5 stars but decided 4 stars was good enough for a couple reasons. The food was great as usual. It was consistently good considering I used to be a frequent diner here. After 5 years, I came again and the taste doesn’t change. My complaints are: first, the price on the menu and the bill doesn’t seem to add up. Sure enough, I checked the price on online delivery like uber food, the price seems to match to the bill. The store should have changed the menu to reflect this change. Second, I get a Thai tea and spring rolls to go. The cup was leaking from the side and less than half was left when I got home. So upset. Now the spring rolls also tasted like Thai tea. So the lesson is always check the bill and make sure the cup is sturdy enough to go.

I found this place last randomly searching for local pho restaurants. Most other pho restaurants were closed when I started looking. This place was decent, but not the best pho I’ve ever had, or the best pho I’ve had in this area. The broth isn’t a flavorful as I would have liked, and the portions aren’t that big either. I ordered the shrimp pho and they literally gave me 5 pieces of shrimp, which isn’t a lot considering this was supposed to be a “large portion”. The restaurant itself looks nice and clean and they have a decent menu. There’s plenty of seating inside and a little outside. They had good customer service and everyone was kind. My total meal was around $13. I may go back, but I’m definitely going to try more pho places in the area first.

FOOD POISONING

Horrifying experience 12/10/2024. I ordered Bun Bo Hue, my bowl had 2 pieces of thinly cut pork ham, 2 cuts of beef that was questionable and pork blood cakes and a tiny platter of bean sprouts, a lime and thai basil. Their meat did not seem fresh, it was old, tough, over cooked meat, it didn't look right but seemed okay, the slices were roughly sliced uneven cut with off-colored meat (I should've asked for another dish if I had known..) later that day I had a little stomach cramp, the day after, first woke up with extremely cold sweat chills, had to use restroom, my body dropped and went down to 0% and banged my head, felt weak throughout the day while caring for a NB, I was constantly vomitting 8 -9x's throughout the day, alot of it in each of those time, had the runs for the entire day, Please check your meats and throw them out if they've gone bad. You guys have been around for decades. I am terrified of eating out again after this horrific experience. I will be telling others.

A place like this location your probably safe on ordering Pho, most come and order Pho, since the meat gets used more vs BBH (not many know of this dish, not like a high traffic asian spot) their BBH meat doesn't get changed out, they hold onto it until someone orders that dish, like a costly thing. Also, their bathroom needs a new trash can, I had to use my hands to open the lid to throw trash away. The foot stepper spring was broken.

Day 2, I still cannot keep food in due to this...

WOW. This place doesn't respect ALL customers no matter the color of their skin.

I came here to eat pho with my son, expecting to enjoy the food and spend a pleasant time together. The pho wasn't anything special, but just WOW the customer service is atrocious and outright gross.

Our server was Mexican and treated us coldly and was being very distant with us. We tried our best to ignore it as we came for the food. Later on, we found on the receipt the server entered "CHINO" for his name, which is no different from a direct slap on the face as that is a racial slur for Asians in Spanish.

The fact that the Hispanic server outrightly wrote this on the receipt, thinking he can freely go about doing this and snickering by himself at the back to "valued" customers is quite disappointing. Not only that, but if it were any other day when I wasn't with my son, I would not have minded and ignored it. But my 15 year old son had to experience this negative racist act with me, negatively affecting him as well.

It is immensely repulsive how I Luv Pho servers treat their customers, especially to Asian customers, when this happens to be an Asian restaurant as well. Our joyful mood was replaced with disappointments and anger.

We will not be...
