Denise is AMAZING!!!

As I share my family’s experience, I truly want to express that this review still will fall short in encapsulating the amount of gratitude, respect, and thankfulness we have for her guidance, support, and friendship.

Now down to our experience …

Early to Mid-2021; My wife, daughter, unborn baby, baby dog and I started to look for a new home - as we had really outgrown our well lived house near Mansfield.

When we started to look for homes, we had a firm area in mind - and Denise was so kind, patient, and incredibly responsive to all our questions via text, email, and call. She absolutely listened to all of requests and feedback as we started to tour homes. She was so understanding of our schedules - and just a joy to be around - as we looked at existing houses in our preferred area. She was, also, so funny! There was a couple of layouts of houses - like a 1/2 bathroom in the living room - that we all just had a laugh.

Well, as we all know … prices went from high to insane for existing inventory. And though, my wife and I hadn’t seriously consider a new build - Denise was excited to take us over to see the builders.

That was an adventure! Denise was attentive and walked us through each builders pros vs cons - and asked questions around lock rates, expected completion dates, lot incentives, appliance deals, third party vendors, etc. She was on it! In fact, that day my wife had to sneak off to pick up our 5 y/o from school - and Denise and I kept looking at the row of model homes - and asking builder questions. For context, the neighborhood has a row of 10 different model homes from 10 different builders.

But back to the story … we came across a builder … whom was rather short, rude - and very elitist. Truth be told, this rude lady was the rep for a builder - and she didn’t even want to give us the pamphlet information on existing houses. Granted that day - it did look like I walked out of the gym … but the lady absolutely took the attitude that we couldn’t afford her brand of home. Denise was sharp - and graceful. She asked for the information - and we got to review it. The builder wasn't a good match for my family - and we moved on. Once my wife returned, we walked into the last builder - and we fell in love (Drees Custom Homes).

Denise was in top of it!

She was asking all the right questions - and being an incredible advocate - as my wife and I gawked over the model home. Seriously, go look at a Drees Model Home - ha.

In the end, Denise helped us find our FAMILY HOME. We locked in a 270 day rate - and avoided the interest rate madness.

This is the home my girls will grow up in!

Okay - so after a quick couple of details … and many many months …

Denise continued to walked us through the entire build process, reviewed all the contracts, addendums and would message us updates, and to just generally check in on us. She continued to be such an advocate for my family - all the way through design, build phase, and especially at closing as we picked the house apart (ha) with blue tape.

She, again, was so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. She has remained so engaged - for so long that she even got to see our now 1 year old baby be born - and become a walking talking person at the closing table.

She’s truly become a family friend!

Of course; this review is a complete oversimplification of the amount of work she did on our behalf over 16 months - and my family truly wouldn’t want to have done it with anyone else.

Side Note: My wife and I have a small real estate portfolio too - and will only grow it with Denise. As over our time together, she was so gracious - and went above and beyond to help work through some rental property issues, as well.

Long review - only a faction of dedication and...

Working with Denise was an excellent experience. She helped my wife and I to sell our house quickly and successfully. Her experience and knowledge proved to be very helpful - everything from the prep to create a strong MLS listing, to the process of negotiating/signing a contract, and attentive guidance to overcome some of the unexpected challenges/obstacles that we happened to encounter with the buyer of our house. Denise was with us every step of the way providing calm, clear and frequent communication to ensure that we were well advised of the important factors for each decision that we needed to make. She always maintained a cool demeanor and provided us valuable insight - it was reassuring to have someone with her expertise and poise representing us.

I appreciate the high degree of patience that she demonstrated as she took the time to answer a multitude of simple and complex questions that we asked throughout the entire process, despite having a busy schedule - Denise did a good job of replying quickly even if it was just to inform us that she was unavailable at that moment but would follow-up asap. The speed and quality of her responsiveness was top notch. As a result I always felt like an important client, and my knowledge about real estate improved substantially.

Denise's personal characteristics also contributed to the highly professional service that she rendered. She is polite, friendly, patient, and honest; overall a very pleasant individual that was a pleasure to work with. She made it clear to my wife and I that she takes her client's satisfaction seriously, and everything that she said and did was always focused on our best interests.

When you are a first time owner, you have too many questions, doubts even fears. I was so lucky and fortunate to have met Denise and have her as my agent. She was always on point. Every single question I had, she had an answer; I even think I asked the same questions couple times. She always had a great attitude and a big smile. She always kept myself informed. She knew the right questions to ask to the sellers. She helped me to save around 20K in the purchase due to her excellent negotiation skills . She was the one who suggested all type of inspections in order to make sure we were getting the best property; in fact thanks to Denise we found a big plumbing problem and requested to be fixed by the previous owner; that by itself saved us another 10K. I loved the fact she was always on top the game. She knows the ins and outs.

When you purchase a house you really need a team player, a quarterback that knows the game. You need some one that cares the same way you do. Denise made me feel as if she was buying the house for her, and I really appreciated that. Her team, was also outstanding. Michelle was always very helpful to keep the process going.
