Upon walking into the lounge, the ambiance initially gives off a welcoming vibe, but unfortunately, that impression didn’t last long.
For someone like me who seldom indulges in hookah, I was expecting a slight buzz after an hour and a half, but to my surprise, there was absolutely none. On the bright side, the flavor was delightful.
That said, the pricing structure seemed a bit unusual. Even though I told the man only TWO of us are smoking ONE hookah, our party of three was charged an additional $10 simply because of our third non-smoking companion was sitting with us.
What took me back further was the automatic 18% gratuity fee that was added regardless of our party size. For a party of 3?
The transparency at the time of payment was questionable, too. I was hastily shown the bill without a proper breakdown of the charges. After doing the math in the car, I concluded it was $44 for 2 people with a single hookah. And he still had the nerve to show me the tip screen lol.
The menu advertised only $19 when we ordered. You be the judge.
A word of advice to the management: Transparency and honesty go a long way in establishing loyal clientele. Opting for shady business practices offer short-term gains but can be detrimental in the long run. Consider revisiting your policies for a more customer-friendly experience, and most importantly, a sustainable...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0 review I would. The unprofessionalism, lack of transparency and accommodation, and deception made my experience here less than enjoyable. They did not honor our original agreement and terms and applied policies at their discretion without proper communication. They offer you ice with your byob but fail to mention that each cup is an extra $1, miscalculated the total bill by not even counting the correct amount of ice hoses, they did not keep track of orders yet we’re applying fees per head for those who did not even request services, were hostile when we asked for bill breakdown and clarification, and applied an additional $5 per person for entry on top of the $3 per person for byob when not everyone even had drinks. This resulted in an over $50 charge to the bill (poor management)
Management and owner need to be transparent about parties of over 10 people.
Please DO NOT come here for any group events you plan. Scenery could also be more up to date as some cushions on the couches had holes and the menus are...
Read moreI had a very awkward experience here. Meet some friends that were already there and having a good time. I sat down, was told that I had to order another hookah because there were too many people. I understood and looked through the menu. They guy just stood over me staring at me. I told him I would look and let them know. He walked away and then the manager (i believe) came over asking me what I wanted and just stood over me as well. Not in a helpful way, but in a "I'm making sure you buy something" way. Everyone felt this and expressed how this was not service they received before I came. At this point I didn't want anything. I just gave him a $20 for a hookah, told him not to prepare it, because I wasn't going to smoke. "Since it's about the money, just take it", it was...
