Our cashier at the register was Paco. We came in on Friday 4/14 at 7:22 pm & placed our order. We often come to this location as we do live in the area our experience is always pleasant. Except for on this visit from the time we walked up to the register he didn’t smile say hello or try to help with any menu questions we had. He was very fast at repeating the order even though I asked him to slow down so I could make sure twice, he just kept speeding through it like he didn’t care . & kept rushing me even though there was no one behind me ! I made sure by looking back . Then he accused my little boy of taking something outside with him when my son actually came in with his snack called “combos , pizzeria flavor” something that Jason’s deli doesn’t even sell. I assured him he already had those & my son and husband just stepped outside so my son would be able to eat them outside while we waited. He looked at my like I was lying and mumbled something I’m not even sure what he said. Then after us another family came in and he gave them all smiles and jokes taught them Spanish words and gave them great customer service, all the while making us feel like less then . I have never been made to feel like I did that day. I called my husband who was sitting outside on the bench with my son to come inside because of how uncomfortable I felt . If he’s going to be working at the register he needs to show the same customer service to all the guests not just his “chosen” ones. Such a disgrace to such a fine...
Read moreIf you're coming here expecting the same quality of food that you'd find at the premade packaged food section of a Kroger aisle, then this is your joint. It has a pretty extensive salad bar that also contains pasta salad, corn, mouse and an array of salad toppings. You can also order a salad that they make for you. They also have soups and pastas and other meals that can be ordered. Unfortunately, it's not fresh products. It's "freshly made" or freshly out together, but not necessarily fresh food. I ordered Salmon salad, which was supposed to have ice burg lettuce, but instead when they served it, they used arugula. My body cannot digest arugula well, so that wasn't the best surprise. The salmon was cold, likely pulled out of the freezer, the texture gave the impression that it was old. It wasn't old enough to make you sick, but old enough to tell it's not fresh. The tomato basil soup was decent. They topped it with cheese and it was tasty. Kind of thicker than it probably should have been, but I finished the bowl. The people at the front are super nice and accommodate the dish if you don't want something in it. What my husband found weird is that there salad bar is not really a salad bar. You get one bowl and you fill it to the max and you cannot go back to fill it. I'm not sure if it's just this branch or all Jason's Deli do this, but my husband and I thought it...
Read moreThis post is really for all of Jason’s Deli. First and foremost every time I visit this establishment the people are always so kind and courteous. I often call in ahead to place my order to go and they always pick right up. And today what finally made me write this post was because when I called in the associate I spoke with already knew what I wanted based off my last order and even knew that I wanted to add broccoli.
Now this location has been my primary location for the past 4 years or so. Jason’s has grown especially attached to me because during the beginning of the pandemic I saw they advertised they were selling certain items like bread Milk and eggs from there own resources to help people in need although I was not in that case. And recently on Facebook Memories it reminded me when I posted this info for others to view and share. Which making my visit today and yet surprising me again made a small little full circle moment.
Now today I ordered the the chicken Alfredo. Which is the best among any other major sit In restaurant chain. But seriously the food has never failed even on nights you don’t know what to eat. You get a free ice cream cone. The food is very “cafe” style but also homey and it just feels good to visit and at Jason’s as if he’s a...
