If I could give ZERO stars I would! I have frequented on my lunch breaks and always had speedy, and courteous customer service & IF something was wrong they fixed it. Well the weekend staff I take it is not as professional as the week day staff particularly Carlos(the name on the receipt) however he said his name was Chapel (Ok? Not sure if this was a lie as seeing he had terrible customer service) anyway... So I ordered through the app which means I paid for my food! Upon arriving to the restaurant I decided to add something else to my order in the drive-through, there was no greeting & a very lackluster attitude over the intercom. The guy told me to hold while I heard him talking to the other customer. Finally after he took my order I drove up & he opened the window & acted as if he had better things to do that day than to be at work. He took the money & gave me my order & shut the window while I was trying to tell him I had an online order. I said therefore while waiting for him to open the window & when he did I let him know that I also had an app order. He told me that I had to tell him at the drive-through & basically made me drive all the way around back to the drafter which I did. The nacho fries were cold which I ate anyway with the hot cheese. I saw that they got the rest of my order wrong & put sour cream when I put in the app no sour cream & my bean burrito was missing. I went back told what was wrong & the same guy now known as Carlos Aka Chapel gave me my burrito & the chulupa w/o sour cream out the window & just shut it in my face. I stayed till he opened the window & told him I would like a free sunrise drink for my inconvenience. He said they didn't have it & I just want free food. WHAT! NEWSFLASH IDIOT I want my food right that I PAID for but compensation for my time wasted should have been offered. I told him that his customer service was awful & he shouldn't work somewhere he could not perform to the highest & is not happy. His response was maybe because people like me. I told him that I was courteous when he was unprofessional & he said have a good day & handed me a small drink. I went inside gave back the food & told him in Spanish " Gracias por su ayuda". My personal experience: -visits this taco bell weekly because its much closer to home -this taco bell is new so not many people visit, never a rush hour at the drive thru, always empty inside the restaurant usually -STILL MESS UP ORDERS. Don't blame the restaurant name blame the staff. Current staff as of 10-2-18 doing poor job.
My poor service (Twice now): I make an order for a drink and food and the drive thru cashier hands me the wrong drink, we laugh i hand it back and receive the right one. Make it home, wow wrong side-order, okay next time i'll check the bag before i leave. Make it back to the taco bell, get into a discussion about how cashier explains "I put the side order in a separate bag go and check". -Already explained to her twice before the discussion that "I already checked and there is nothing in the bag but a burrito" -Cashier says "okay I'll get you another one" -I hand cashier the "Cinnabons" back that I never ordered in the first place, and even if it was a gesture of gratitude as "free cinnabons" well I never got my "paid for side order" in the first place.
Extra note: Cook you could at least wrap the tacos/chalupas neatly, I understand you are in a rush since no customers are hardly there.
Long story short, instead of a "oh yeah my bad" I have to deal with a "No sir I'm discussing it in front of you with the cook and we are both saying we put it in a side bag and were a witness to said event", okay maybe you put that side bag in SOMEONE ELSES ORDER. Jesus. 2/5 stars. Will start going to the other taco bell on MacArthur, at least their staff is well-trained and not the new kid...
Read moreI am very disappointed about how we were treated at this Taco Bell. Me and my boyfriend went through the drive thru to order food on our lunch. As we were thinking the attendant came on the line and started asking us what we wanted and we told her one moment please as we tried to decide. She came back on a total of 3 times asking what we wanted and asked her politely to allow us the time to figure this out. The 4th time the manager gets on the line and asks us what do we want very rudely and rushing us through our order. Once we got to the window I asked the girl to speak with her manager. She asked her in Spanish to come here and the manager states that shes too busy to speak with us. Finally 2 mins later she comes to the window and I begin to tell her that she was being very rude and not giving us great service. She returned in saying that we were taking too long and were effecting their drive thru timing. (I worked in drive thru for 3 years. me sitting at the order station will no effect anything also there wasn't ANYONE behind us or in the restaurant.) She also stated that she doesn't care that it was rude we should've hurried up. Once I asked for her district manager she told me to purchase my food first, and look on the receipt and then walked away. SUPER Rude and I will be going higher...
