WOW! Absolutely delicious. At first I was nervous to try this spot out because I have never tried them before. I used to live in New Jersey and the Haitian restaurant I used to eat at on Ball St. Closed went out of business, now they only sell bakery items. I had a pretty large order which I am so GLAD the gentleman on the phone understood what I was talking about. Most times the language barrier is really hard . When I picked up the food everything was ready. No CRAZY wait times! I don’t know if I was speaking to the owner but he was very kind and I can tell he takes pride in his food. I'm not from NJ, but I accidentally drove 40 mns to this place because I was craving haitian food. All I can say is I was not disappointed! It started with their customer service, because when I realized how far it was and wanted to cancel, they offered to drive it to me, which I declined but was nice of them nonetheless. We drove 40 mns to Bon Appétit Caribbean on a Saturday afternoon. I was not disappointed! Great customer service. The food was fresh, super delicious, i ordered a large duri Djondjon with chicken, they gave me enough food to feed 2 people. The macaroni salad was great, duri djondjon was awesome, and the chicken was well seasoned. The next day i went, i got again a large duri Djondjon and fried turkey, Once again, everything was DELICIOUS. If you're in Irvington or close by, this is one spot that I'd definitely recommend!
