To start off.. their food is nasty and super salty. I tried them a couple months back and literally never wanted to try it again. BUT… the second time I had it, my friend brought it over to my house. I tried to give them a second chance. It was just super oily and salty. If that wasn’t bad enough l found a single TOE NAIL clipping in my lo mein. Trust me when I say I wanted to call the restaurant and complain, but unfortunately they were closed. Absolutely disgusted and it made me throw up all night. As if this wasn’t the worst thing they could do.. on a whole other unrelated topic. They had a “grand opening” a couple months back and my other friend was home with her sick infant. They had a DJ blasting music directly in front of their restaurant. At first the DJ clearly didn’t know how to adjust volumes because they literally woke her baby up by playing music really loud then really low, then really loud then really low. What does this have to do with the restaurant? Let me explain. An hour or so passed by, my friend asked them nicely to please lower their music because it was literally blasting directly into her house. I was literally on FaceTime with her while her sick infant was screaming and crying. Tried calling the restaurant and asking them in person… they went from a response from okay “no problem” to “we’re waiting for the mayor to arrive” to “the event ends at 4 pm”. The whole thing didn’t stop till 6 pm… now I’m unsure of what exact time they started this. But imagine a sick infant screaming and crying from approximately 10 am to 6 pm… it’s sickening. There were so many ways to accommodate. They could’ve started by pointing the speakers towards the flow of traffic.. or even simply stop raising volumes up and down repeatedly. Their food and customer service are terrible. Would you want to support a restaurant who served a freaking toe nail? Like how would that even happen? You would have to be cutting your nails in the vicinity of where you cook the food…...
Read moreI hate to write this because I hate to put businesses down but hopefully this will allow them to do better. I ordered the chicken mild w/ lomein and it was OK the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. I also had the Brussel Sprouts which were EXTREMELY SALTY i couldnt even eat two bites without having to take a sip of water. I also had the Chicken BAO BUNS - SO DRY!!!! they had barely any sauce and the bun itself was dry. When I think of bao bun the bun itself is supposed to be moist and soft.. this thing was so dry and the chicken was dry and tasted horrible. My wontons were disgusting as well. I had the Nutella wontons and the stawberry/nutella with the dry wonton bread just didnt do it for me. I wouldve put 0/5 but i didnt want to be harsh. The best thing I ordered was the lemonade. Im so sad i had such a horrible experience here because I was really looking forward to try and the way the food looks on instagram really wasnt the same as how it tastes in person. I truly wouldnt come back here and wouldnt recommend to anyone. I ended up throwing away my entire...
Read moreWe tried the chicken bao buns (very tasty), beef bao buns (ok-try if you like sweet), and the show stopper chicken and wok’d rice (delish-husband devoted before a pic could be taken)! Buns were a lot smaller than expected for $7 for 2 (3 bites each) buns but the rice bowl was well priced for the amount of food you got and flavor. It’s a take out only place (kinda disappointing because you don’t get the full potential of the food) so be prepared to eat in your car, the buns might not keep well traveling home. Mine were already sticking to the paper when I crossed the street to my car. The rice and chicken were still good when I home, very flavorful and just a hint of spicy. Note: if you like crunch, eat this right away. The sauce will make the chicken soft, which was good for me traveling 30 mins home. Set up was fine, no line on a Sunday. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, most businesses were closed since it was a Sunday so lots of street parking (meters during the week). Overall, I’ll go back and try a few...
