Iceburgh's Bistro Irwin — Restaurant in Irwin

I went to order to the Greensburg location and on google maps it said it was open as you can clearly see on my photo. When I walked to the location it said closed. So I looked up the other location and I saw there was a location in Irwin, so I called them because I already paid and can’t go all the way to Irwin on my lunch break… the lady said she didn’t know what she wanted me to to since it’s already made. I told her that it let me order when I clicked the button and she said it’s impossible. She said she’ll call me about it later when she looks into it. So I called the owner and he said he didn’t know what he wanted me to do because he can’t lose the product and I get that but an accident happened and he said that it’s my fault and had no relation to google maps. Which I know that I’m not dumb. He said since he’s a small business owner he didn’t know what I wanted him to do….. he said he’s living off Pennie’s, well so am I and he can just happily take my money and not try to make a customer happy for me to maybe come back. We didn't know what to expect. We weren't looking for a lunch place. We were just down the street at McFeely's chocolate shop (looking for dark chocolate for a chocolate tower) and noticed Iceburgh's as we drove by. We decided, "We're already parked. Why not try it?" Boy, are we glad we did.

I had the salad (w/ Lemon Ginger Vinegarette), soup (loaded potato), and a side of their chicken salad (which the clerk at McFeely's raved about). My wife the full salad w/ honey mustard). All of it just wonderful.

We immediately started thinking about franchise opportunities just so we can eat here again. Soon!

Well, now we have a great reason to drive back to Irwin and not just to pick up stuff at Mac.bid.

I was not impressed by my salad at all. My salad was almost $14 which in itself is ridiculous. The chicken was frozen Tyson grilled chicken strips and almost all of the ingredients were not fresh. I also got the “toasted sesame vinaigrette” dressing which was literally just teriyaki sauce. It was disgusting. Definitely not coming back here again. Burgher burgher across the street had an awesome chicken salad for less money and better ingredients. I suggest...
