Lizzy’s Lunchbox — Restaurant in Isla de Vieques

Update, my friend got severe food poisoning (he got the pork, chicken and beef) after eating here I also didn't feel well. Please avoid until the sanitation standards improves. Or you will end up bed bound for a whole day.

I got the bacalao, fish, and shrimp tacos. The latter two were particularly good! The only thing that I will provide constructive feedback on is that she uses her hands to handle cash and right after without cleaning or washing them she cooks and chops the food, which could be a hygienic hazard if the cash bills are not clean. I will suggest using gloves or things like that to keep the food clean. Additionally I do not think it's worth the price. The food was good but not "cannot miss"...

I can't find Lizzy's Lunchbox. Can someone tell me if they are still a business? Or maybe owner's close the month of August.?? The GPS takes me to the parking lot at Esperanza Beach and it's not there. I tried finding it five different days. It's not there or not open. I asked around, no one knows. Someone told me it was down the road in a green building - inside. The only green building around the corner is a small market - went in ... not there. Someone else said try across from Blok hotel. Not there. There is no phone number to call.

Still giving five stars because of reputation...lol... shouldn't give bad reviews somewhere if you...

These tacos are amazing!

We stumbled upon Lizzy’s Lunchbox by chance while waiting for a taxi, and I only wish we had found it sooner! Thinking we just needed a quick snack, we ordered to-go—but we immediately regretted not getting more. The taco I had was bursting with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor, leaving me wishing for another bite.
