Back in february Myself and 3 others were on a trip and we were dropped off by the taxi in front of this restaurant and it looked like a cute tourist spot, so we decided we would eat at this location. We walk up and waited in line for a table to open which was no problem at all because we had a beautiful view of the beach. We were brought to our table by an american white lady who wasn’t very friendly but we all work in management so we understood if she was a little stressed from work. However, when it came time to order one of the people i was with asked if he could get his bacon just a little less done as a preference, and the lady told him, “you’ll get it how we cook it.” In a very rude tone and that took us all by surprise. The rest of the time we spent ordering the lady was impatient and not helpful with the menu at all. Another person i was with ordered an iced coffee and when he finished the iced coffee he asked the lady if iced coffees had free refills and she then told him no and went on a rant about how asking for free iced coffee isn’t going to “slide” so he then asked “well what about hot coffee” she didn’t say anything and went into the back and came out with a cup of hot coffee. he then asks again since the lady did not say anything if it was free she then said “no it’s not”so he said “then i do not want the coffee” she tells him that it’s “too bad” and she had already put it on his tab and he tried explaining to her that he did not order a hot coffee but had asked if it would be free to get a refill of hot coffee instead of the iced coffee, but she started arguing and being extremely rude with him to the point he had to get up and leave the restaurant. so myself and the two others i was now with were paying the tab and we left no tip and suggested she be nicer to customers and a little more understanding, as i said we all work in management. We leave for about 20 minutes and then come back to the kayak rental across the street. While we were renting our kayaks she then came across the street to us and went up to the only female in our group who was a minor and started yelling in our faces saying we were trying to rip her off and get free coffee and threatening to fight the female who was with us. After telling her that the female she is threatening was a minor she told us she didn’t care and continued to yell. We tried apologizing and tried to get her to go away from us but after attempting that she threatened to get locals to come after us which blew our minds. who would threaten to put locals on tourists all because of those things? we then moved ourselves away from the situation and left. we will never return to this location and hope this never happens to anyone else that visits...

We had a very disappointing experience during our visit on Tuesday, May 27th at 10:30am. Upon arrival, we were second in line to be seated and waited over 15 minutes without a single acknowledgment from the staff — no greeting, no update, and no eye contact, despite several open tables and the open-air layout of the restaurant.
While waiting, my 3-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom, so I walked toward a hallway that appeared to lead there. A staff member behind the bar abruptly asked, “What do you want?” — which caught me off guard. When I explained we were looking for the restroom, she snapped again, telling me they weren’t in that direction and then pointed, without explanation, around the building. There was no guidance, and her tone was unnecessarily harsh.
When we returned, we waited another 10 minutes with no interaction from the staff. A longer line had formed behind us, yet we still received no acknowledgment — so we ultimately left and went elsewhere.
Only two staff members appeared to be working at the time, but the lack of basic courtesy and hospitality left a very negative impression. I hope this feedback is helpful for the owner in improving guest experience moving forward.

Read moreWhat a horrible experience. I called the number registered in Google maps and the owner picked up. She was nice and said while she is not there the place is open for business and wished us a great day. Nonetheless to say we were excited to try it. As soon as we arrived/parked, having parked in front of other business, a black lady(apparently a waitress) yelled from one corner of the establishment all the way to us where we thought we could park. She said "YOU CANNOT PARK THERE". I understand you can't park in certain areas but what about you having some manners? I found parking somewhere else while my family(hungry as can be) decided to enter this place. The lady "helping us" was ok but as soon as she went behind the bar to talk to the rude screaming black lady they had a little chat and were laughing. It was uncomfortable but we needed to head back home and this was the only option at this point. The food was blant, pancake was out of a box and the portions were small. I would not come back to this place unless you want to support these type of nasty behavior. I am sure the owner has no idea of how the establishment is ran by the employees. I hope they face some type of reality check and get trained properly. I would never come back. Almost forgot!
