El Cayo Beach — Attraction in Isla de Vieques

Of all the beaches we visited when an hour is Rincon, this beach easily had the cleared waters that were prime for snorkeling. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to see underwater unless your swam out fast past the bouys and around the bottom of the pier. Which is all fine if you're a good swimmer but not recommended for weak swimmers or children.

Neat beach, we did find a few fish and neat creatures snorkelling towards the caye by shipwreck beach. Its pretty shallow and lots of seaweed/seagrass growing on the bottom so some spots are tricky to maneuver through.
