On Thursday June 6th 2024 around 6:30 pm, I walked into this store and was hosted by a mid-age white male employee. Upon reading the notice, I took it as all business in this store at Front Street enjoys 10% off so I asked the employee whether it was the case. The employee, immediately assumed I wanted free food and went outside, read the note to me loudly, asking why I was asking a question that was already answered, along with harrassments like "can you read?". I was totally shocked. I've never been accused like this simply because I asked a question. After all these, the employee immediately returned to kitchen, left no word and kept me waiting for miniutes. When he was back, I explained what I want, clearly he misunderstood my request and was furious because I corrected him. As I haven't met this person in this store before, I asked how long has he been working here. His response was "I've been working on this longer than you lived". When he was unhappy because I wasn't submissive, he simply left the counter, refused to serve me any more.
According to the employee, everthing was on camera and I've already filed a complaint on it with Subway support. As part of Asian commuty, if this is not racist behavior, I cannot tell what on earth racist means.
This is by far the worst experience I had in all restaurants. I'm looking forward on Subway's response on this matter and I will keep this thread updated. I'm also open to any advice that might help escalating the issue. Being discriminative and harrassing customers is TOTALLY...

I went to the counter to order, the employee did not care at all that there was a customer waiting. They were scrolling on their phone, I had waited at least 5 minutes before he finally looked up. I placed my order for a sandwich. My order was finished 20 minutes after i placed it because he kept talking to another employee in the back. when i went to pay i went to swipe my gift card and the employee snatched it from my hand, he told me gift cards had to be scanned and verified by the employee which was something id never heard of before. He then told me there was no balance in the card and put it into his pocket!! I explained to him there was still at least $10 in the card. He said no money no sandwich. He then picked up the sandwich and took a bite out of it. I have never experienced worse...
   Read moreI ordered through the subway app. I asked for a spicy Italian with bacon. There were only 6 pieces of salami and pepperoni, and I know thatâs not subway standard. I also asked for extra pickles and mayo. Not only were there only 4-5 pickles, but my sandwich was dry. I even called the store and asked how much meat goes on the sandwich, and was told 8. The inconsistency at this store is a joke. Morning shifts usually have excellent workers, but whenever I have ordered in the evening, I receive garbage sandwiches.
