Made an appointment thinking I was getting the owner but, when I started talking with stylist I realized she had the same name as the owner, Samantha. This was my first appointment at this salon and I was expecting an experienced high quality job for a quote of over $200.00 for a color/cut/ blow dry. During my conversation before my haircut w/Samantha she bragged about her 9 years of experience including time at a high end salon in Las Vegas. I showed her 2 pictures of what I wanted and asked her if she understood as I had been growing my hair out for 4 months to get a better layered cut. She claimed she understood and acted confident that she could cut my hair correctly. Samantha started cutting my hair suddenly with a razor and with one quick cut she chopped off a chunk of hair from the back of my head. I told her immediately that I felt she cut off too much hair. Samantha kept saying she was getting to what I wanted. Unfortunately I ended up with an uneven page boy haircut nothing even close to the pictures I showed her. My hair was a half inch shorter on the right side than the left along with a large chunk out of the back of my hair. Samantha honestly had totally no idea what she was doing creatively. When I explained to Samantha that my hair was nothing like I had requested she deducted the cost for my haircut and I paid for the color and blow dry. I called the salon the day after the cut as I was so embarrassed of my haircut and disappointed that a stylist claiming to be a long time professional would “Edward Scissorhand” my hair. The manager was apologetic and refunded the total cost of my visit. I later received an email saying Samantha was promoted to a “master stylist”. Unbelievable. Just a warning from my experience. Extremely disappointed to say the least. This was my 2nd time coming here. The first time, my stylist was personable! She seemed like she actually cared that I was there and spending $250 at her place of business. She responded when I engaged in conversation with more than one word. It can get pretty uncomfortable for three hours with a stylist that seems to be annoyed at your presence, which was how my second visit went. When I would start a conversation and she'd respond with one word. The second extremely disappointing thing was she ruined my clothing. I could tell dye was going everywhere. She left while I was processing and I had to get up and ask the front desk girl, on her phone, for a towel to wipe the chair. I literally told her that there was dye all over the chair. She giggled and handed me a towel. She didn't offer to help or seem to care in any manner. I proceeded to clean the chair myself. There are five places on my shirt that got dyed- it is ruined. Later, I'm in my car I look in the mirror and a large chunk in the front had no color and had splotches. I really didn't want to go back in because she already seemed annoyed but it was too obvious to not ask for it to be fixed. I went back, she put more color on the missing piece then washed half of it out, blew half my head dry, and took her next client. Sophia is worst. I want to give 0 start If I could. I did a haircut with her. She was not friendly, did not even offer water or ask If I was doing okay throughout the appointment. I was pregnant and had to ask for water myself. She started the appointment late, all three washer were busy so had to again wait. She rushed through whole appointment. I wanted a layered cut, she did not do layers and said she would do it when she blows out hair as she would see length better after that. After blowing out, she barely did anything on hair. When I asked to go shorter and do layers, she said she doesn’t have time for any adjustments or do any kind of styling at all. Worst and rude stylist ever. Do not choose her.

I have good experience with Anne, Alicia, Gilbert. I have been coming here for almost 2 hours, all other stylists are polite and welcoming, they never rush. I had to book an appointment with Sophia just the day before since there was none stylist available.
