Loby's Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Jackson Township

WE DINED THERE ON THURSDAY FEB.6th 2025 IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY RESTAURANT WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO. WE STOOD THERE TO GET SEATED FOR A GOOD 5 MINUTES (usually ok but not busy at all and also no one in sight even) WHEN WE WERE SEATED WE WERE IN THE BOOTHS (usually ok but) WE ORDERED OR FOOD. WHILE WE WERE WAITING ON OUR FOOD THE WAITRESSES WERE SO LOUD WE COULD NOT HEAR EACH OTHER IN OUR BOOTH. THEY WERE ACTING SO OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. WE GOT OUR FOOD 2 OF US ORDERED THE SPECIAL (pizza) I ORDERED EXTRA SAUCE, ONIONS, MUSHROOMS, GREEN PEPPER & BANANA PEPPERS. THE PIZZA WAS GOOD BUT IT WAS A GOOD THING I ORDERED EXTRA SAUCE BECAUSE THEN THERE WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ANY ON IT. THE VEGATABLES WERE RAW ON TOP OF THE CHEESE. WE WENT TO THE RESTROOM AND THERE WERE 3 WAITRESSES IN THERE ON THERE PHONES TALKING JUST STANDING THERE, WHILE THE VANITY WAS ALL SOAKED WITH WATER. NOT ONE OF THEM WIPED IT OFF. WHEN WE GOT UP THE LEAVE THERE WAS A GENTLEMAN CARRYING 3 POPCORN AND USING A CANE TRYING TO GET TO HIS TABLE. HE HAD TO ASK THE SAME 3 WAITRESSES TO GET OUT OF THE WAY SO HE COULD GET THE POPCORN FIRST OF ALL, THEN HE ACCIDENTALLY DROPPED ONE ON THE FLOOR, NOT ONE WAITRESS OR PERSON ASKED IF HE NEEDED HELP. WE HELPED HIM, I THINK YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PROFESSIONAL COMPASSIONATE AND A MORE CARING STAFF. DO NOT KNOW IF I WILL EVER BE BACK TO ANY OF YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS AND I WILL DEFINITELY SPREAD THE WORD...

The ONLY reason I am giving this place two stars is because of the inside staff, when they open the patio bar up on Fridays. If I based it on the outside bartender, I would give no stars. The inside staff is wonderful! They have been so understanding towards the lack of professionalism the outside bartender displays. Last Friday, (June 1st) she was out there with another bartender with shorter hair. The rude bartender has long hair, and was wearing a baseball cap with what I thought were underwear, but were shorts. I have had it up to HERE with this specific bartender for the outside patio everytime we come. She needs to lay off drinking, and tend to her customers. She is so rude! EVERY TIME we came she was too busy dancing, smoking, drinking, and flirting! We are paying customers who give generous tips. However, if you CANNOT do your job, we will give the inside bartenders our business. The sad thing is, I'm not the only person who complains on her. One time, she put ice in a shot glass full of crown apple, and thought it was funny. If someone is paying for it... It is never funny. She DID NOT fix it either. Drunk people can be abrasive if pushed, so she should really take it easy with her behavior. I have NEVER dealt with incompetence to that level. Everyone described her the same way... long hair, skinny, and ALOOF. She single-handedly makes the place cringe-worthy when she acts like that. Seriously, get...

This was our first visit to Loby's .. but definitely not our last .. we always thought that it was just a bar .. but after Googleing it and seeing the pictures we figured we give it a try .. and extremely glad that we did.. everything was amazing .. well except was the Dirty Rice (the rice had a very over powering clove taste) .. for an appetizer we ordered a 5 count Bone in Wings with traditional hot buffalo sauce and a Dirty Rice .. for our meal we ordered the Classic burger, fresh ground 1/2lb patty .. the burger was cooked to perfection .. Loby Melt (almost like a patty melt)again fresh ground 1/2lb burger with sauteed onions and mushrooms, swiss and american cheese .. and again the burger was cooked to perfection .. we also ordered tater tots and french fries (fries are fresh cut) .. according to our server it's more of a restaurant during the weekdays and weekend days .. and it is a family friendly environment (there were families there while we were there .. about 3:00pm) .. in the evening there's probably more of a bar atmosphere when they have a DJ and/or a Band .. there's so much to choose from on the menu.. I look forward to going here again .. Fantastic food .. Great friendly...
