Back Yard Bar-Be-Cue — Restaurant in Jackson

Ordered a family pack of 8 a few weeks ago and received moldy buns that made me and my daughter absolutely sick. When I called the establishment to let them know, I spoke with a male manager who said that they will happily replace my entire meal and this happens sometimes because they get their buns in bulk and aren’t always able to sell them as quickly as they get them in at times. He told me I could just call and give them my name and phone number and they would replace my meal. He never told me I needed to bring the buns up there or anything. Fast forward to tonight, I called to get my replacement meal & another manager Erin claimed I never spoke with a male manager and all her complaints she has were written by herself. She also said they throw all complaints away within two weeks. So they will only replace the buns. She continued to say in a nice nasty way that I was lying because I have not spoken to anyone, not directly, but passively, as if I just pulled this story out of my a.. she then continued to say they don’t have a male manager that works at night besides their manager so there was no way I spoke with anyone because he had not talked to me . Mind you I never said I called at night. On top of that, she didn’t ask for my name to even see had I placed the complaint. After stressing to her that she doesn’t even know my name or what time I called, she finally asked when I called which was in the day time, she then said there is only one male black manager that works during the day and he is a prep manager. And when I told her “so if you knew there was a male manager why are you acting as if I’m lying” she responded “because you didn’t tell me his name so I’m not going to continue to argue with you, do I want the buns or not?” I politely called her a b** and hung up. I know one person can’t sink a ship, but I promise to let everyone I know about this very unprofessional encounter and they will never see another dime...

I will not be eating there anymore ever👌ever👌 I talked with Mr. Gary about how I was treated by one of his employees and curbside my order and apologize for the misunderstanding that took place in 2013 , September 19 2018 same problem she stated my card was declined and gave it back to me and I said that isn't correct and gave it back to her and she shouted out to me the money isn't there all the while sliding card ,purchase was approved and this heifer never said I'm sorry or nothing ,she handed me the receipts to sign which I never gave back to her because she was coming threw my window with the food So I said I'm gonna report her to manager and I tried to do so but the Owner Gary or Gerry was present so I told him what had just happened and today made twice I was mistreated at his business And he tells me she has been with him 28 years and next time place my order in the inside 😒 So he didn't care that this heifer is doing paying customers wrong ? OK he acting like he has paid for this mule and got papers and don't care if you never return 👌 OK Gary ( Masa) She running off people , if they cranky send them home now I got to go to church and repent for telling him to kiss where the sun don't shine

I'm a 48 year old woman and I can say what I want and You telling me to come to the back door was what I heard in order to avoid conflict with a employee that clearly needs meds , The fact that you sat and argued back and forward with a customer that was simply trying to tell you that someone is unruly on the window and I get slapped with take your business somewhere else !!!! OK You doing your best to make America Great Again I guess and Oh I hope your business does great , I'm keeping my rights to free ...

I have ate here several times over the years. Can't get enough of their chili baked potatoes and pulled chicken on the side. It's always good so don't get me wrong but this night at the time I picked up my to go order. All 3 potatoes were made fresh as I waited. A pound of pulled chicken as usual, looked good and juicy. So I'm unsure if a new person was in the kitchen or if they just got touched by the "take-out" God's but I did not want to find the bottom of my Styrofoam container. I unfortunately found it after taking my time with the last few bites. It could have been the weather, a full moon or even being tired from the day. I don't think it was actually just some really great food from a place I've always gotten good food from. If the owners read this just know that I'm over 40 and it's been years since I've enjoyed a meal any where near as much as I enjoyed that one. The young ladies at the counter all smiled and were extremely polite. Everyone working that night seriously showed out. Even with a full drive thru and a small take out line inside. I am putting this meal up in the top 3 I've ever ate. I've ate alot in my years so I hope you appreciate that you knocked out several to get there. Thank you for an amazing meal and I'll be...
