Belk — Local services in Jackson

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use the clinique counter in this store!!!!!! I went in 2 weeks ago Saturday and bought 120 dollars worth of clinique, there was a gift set that you could get as of that Tuesday and was told I could get it if I waited til Tuesday and it would be mailed out to me on that Tuesday. Last week on Wednesday, which would have been a week and one day since the package was supposed to be mailed I called and inquired about it because I had not received it and she said it hadn't been enough time, didn't ask my name or offer to track my package or at least give me some idea of when I could expect it. So today which is 1 week and 5 days since I ordered and paid I call back. Mind you it took 4 calls throughout the day to get anyone to answer, I finally reach someone and asked for a tracking number and she says I would have to call back the next day for that but did take my name and put me on hold. She came back to tell me my package HAD NOT EVEN BEEN MAILED!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! No explanation as to why just oh I can get it in the mail tomorrow. Ummmmm no ma'am the reason I'm checking is I'm out of everything by now! Macy's now has my clinique business. If I could give it a negative star I would! I ordered online to pick up in store. After I had completed my order I realized they had other styles in stock of the item I had just ordered. I had went in expecting to have to go through hoops to return and a big hassle but no it wasn't. I had shopped real quick and found what I really had my heart set on as I made my way to the in-store pick up point. This is a new found love for me! I must have been sleeping on Belk but my eyes are open now. My initial encounter with Belk was in Franklin, TN and I truly enjoyed the experience! The prices are comparable and great and the items are very nice. There is always a sale. However, this location in Jackson, TN is much smaller than the one in Franklin, TN and with that certain items may or may not be in both locations.
