I've been past quite a few of these and finally decided to stop in (actually chose this place over Longhorn steakhouse). Okay so I'll start off with the pricing, and it's unbelievable! For 6.99 you can get a whole meal w/ 2 sides and a drink. This is unheard of in today's times! So I got the double cheeseburger with fries, fried white cheese curds, and cheerwine, while the person I was with got the same burger but with Cajun seasoned fries and cole slaw. The burger was average sized, but boy was it delicious. The taste was almost homemade, and it was juicy and had a perfect grill flavor. The cheese curds we're pretty dang good, but the fries unfortunately were just average. The French fries were honestly the thing I liked least, but with a little bit of ketchup they turned out not too bad. My boss said the slaw was a 9 out of 10, but the Cajun seasoning on the fries didn't really catch his taste buds the right way. Of course we had to try one of their 44 specialty milkshakes as well, with me trying the peanut butter Oreo and him getting the peanut butter banana. They both were super thick, tasty, and I'm kinda wishing I had another right now haha. Overall this place deserves a 5 star rating for what they are, plus the employees seemed happy too! Couldn't ask for more.

We were traveling from OKC to Nashville, it was a long day and we needed food. Cook Out was not a good experience!! We were not sure the place was open when we pulled up, it didn't look like there was anyone inside and only a handful of cars in the drive thru. The girl taking our order was talking so fast you would have thought there was 100 people inside and out, her voice was distorted sounding and we had a hard time understanding her. We ordered a bbq plate and ask that the fries be substituted with onion rings, a bbq sandwich and 2 bottles of water. She handed us a bag with 1 sandwich out the window, then the plate with 4 onion rings, 6 hush puppies and a sandwich. We reminded her we didn't ask for 2 sandwiches, she said because we substituted the onion rings she had to change it to a tray and it comes with a sandwich. That made absolutely no sense to us! We drove away disappointed we didn't get what we ordered and then realized she didn't give us our water! The service was horrible.

Tried this place for the first time today. The cheddar bacon cheeseburger wasn’t too bad - definitely pulled off the “backyard grill” flavor and they didn’t skimp on the bacon. The burger was maybe a little on the small side and a bit saltier than I’d prefer, but not too bad. I paired it with the Double Chocolate milkshake, which did help balance the salty burger, but was more of a disappointment. For being a “double” chocolate shake, it suffered from delusions of grandeur…in fact it was quite literally a vanilla shake with some chocolate partially stirred in (see photo). If I hadn’t gotten it from the drive-thru and driven away, I would’ve had them give me a proper chocolate shake or a refund.

4/21- I wanted to try here because I’m from out of state. I immediately was greeted by Dee Dee who was already helping a man. It’s my first time and I had lots of questions. Dee Dee answered them all and didn’t not make me feel like I was putting her out. Once I figured out my order it only took a few minutes to get it. Really fast service.

Alliah came out to tend the customer ahead of me. He was very rude and out of line to the girls. I was impressed with Alliah and Dee Dee who were professional and helpful to such a waste of human. If you’re going to treat people bad in the food industry stay home and cook. I hope management will reward both girls for not letting this man ruin their day. They were very nice to the customers who came in after. I ordered a double burger and it’s good. Make sure you know what you want on it. I asked for onions 🧅 tomato 🍅 and jalapeños. I didn’t know they were not pickled, they use fresh jalapeños and I loved it! They are not stingy with the jalapeños or onions. You get plenty in every bite. My sides were Cajun fries and Hush Puppies. The portions are just right and fresh. Still hot. I had a good experience. I went at 3:35pm to skip the lunch crowd. I like to eat alone 😁 If you’ve never been give them a try and make sure to tell Dee Dee and...

The service here is absolutely terrible. They have the whole Christian vibe going (playing gospel music in the background, wall decor) which is great but they treat you like trash. It's like they are trying for the Chick-Fil-A vibe without the Chick-Fil-A customer service.

We arrived and went inside & someone at the counter saw us and immediately just shouted "customer is lobby" and walked away. There was no "just one sec" or anything and we waited another 5 minutes for someone to come out.

Once a person eventually did come out, they seemed like it was a bother to be even helping us. They took our payment, gave us our receipt and then walked away without saying anything. The girl did not say one thing in our entire interaction.

Also the store itself is cold as hell. They are running ceiling fans and it's not a very comfortable inside experience. The bathrooms were nice, though, and well-maintained as was the restaurant in general.

We were going through the area and had never been to a Cook Out so maybe this is the vibe but we were sorely disappointed based off all the recommendations we've had to...
