I don’t know where to start… I drove over a hour to come here after me and my husband have been driving for 4 days straight from Nashville tn to Memphis I’ve been looking for a decent Chinese buffet this location was one of few that actually had a rating above 3 stars .. I had high hopes for this location and was by far more than wrong. Let me start with as soon as you walk in it’s HOT AND STUFFY IN THERE… I’m talking about miserable from start to finish. Even the employee near our table was having to fan herself off with a piece of paper 😂so I know we weren’t the only one. The food. Most of it was old and cold really wasn’t much variety.. when I say off of me and my husbands plate we both maybe took one bite of everything on our plates and our final decision was to just leave it wasn’t even worth eating especially knowing we still have to drive for 2 more days before we even get home.. so once again another night no food. We got up left with our plates full and still had to pay 40$ for two people for a meal we didn’t enjoy or even get to eat still hungry sad and out of my money too .. I can say truly it was a waste of time and gas just driving the hour plus there and if I’m lucky maybe by the time we reach Louisiana at 2 am hopefully we can find some food that is actually open 😭☹️😪 I’ll stop looking for Chinese buffets and just go to the one we know back home all the way in Florida .. I feel bad leaving the review but I also feel that I should speak on our experience that we did have. My apologies to the owner but this is not worth a 1 star to me if I could leave a 0 star I honestly would of the girl who sat us down yes she was sweet and really quick to get our drinks I appreciate that so much but to pay for two plates that we didn’t even eat I’m sorry on a business aspect that’s not good business… coming from a owner of multiple businesses as well I truly wish I would of left as soon as...
Read moreThe hibachi grill was a nice added option. Directions clearly posted to get a clean plate, add the ingredients you want cooked to the plate and hand it to the cook. I did exactly that! When he had cooked my food that I had hand-picked and put on my plate and went to hand it to me, I noticed shrimp mixed in with my food. I handed the plate back to the cook and told him that wasn't my plate. He attempted to give it back to me, stating it was mine, and I informed him I didn't put shrimp on my plate that I put chicken on my plate because I am allergic to shrimp. I had hand picked all my ingredients and was really looking forward to my meal. It was disappointing to have to walk away from my order and just eat the buffet choices as I was not that impressed with the items I had already tried as most of them were cold and clearly not recently cooked. Lomein noodles tasted like some kind of plastic or chemical had been cooked with them. They had a very odd, unpleasant flavor. Rangoons were fantastic! Eggdrop soup was on point! Probably wouldn't recommend this place, mostly for the dangers of throwing shrimp, unsolicited, on...
Read moreWe have gone to the restaurant for years but have noticed a difference in the food and wait staff. We went last night at 7. Most of the pans of food on the buffet had been "stirred" alot. Alot of the food was hard as if it had been sitting under the lights. A couple of the items that were not "stirred" were cold. I know that there is a language barrier since I don't speak Chinese but the wait staff is rude. They have brought the bill to the table before we finished eating and wanted payment. Showed us the receipt and asked for that tip while we are still eating. Come back to the table multiple times and asked for payment while we are still eating. Thrown fortune cookies to the individual place settings still while we are eating. We place empty dishes at the end of the table and they will reach across your plate while you are eating to get a plate/cup/glass. We have never been asked if we want seconds on drinks. Since this is a buffet, we normally eat within a 30 minute or less time frame. So sad this use to be a...
