Subway — Restaurant in Jackson

Post your pics!!! I just noticed they posted a bunch of corporate menu photos to hide what the sandwiches really look like! Help the community!!! This Subway is so bad, I actually started using Google Reviews for this, so hopefully my review doesn't get hidden. Basically, they refuse to make a sandwich how Subway designed and will start putting things like old sour avocados on your sandwich because "It's better this way. I won't charge you." They then flooooood it with mayo and mustard when you don't want mayo and mustard and tell you "It's better this way. You try it. You like it. It's good. It's good." In the past they've been extremely rude, but I have returned due to family wanting to go there and not drive to the next closest location in Valley Springs or San Andreas, but OMFG it's worth it. This photo is supposed to be a "Classic Veggie Delight with salt pepper oil vinegar." I hope this location closes and a new franchisee opens a new Subway in its place. If you end up at this current location with the current problematic owner, avoid the avocado add on at least because they seem to over order and always push people to take them on the sandwich but they have that weird tangy taste avocados get when...

What can I say except I enjoy a good dub every now and then. And subway was founded on a good sub at a good price with fresh stuff to top it off with. Who could want more? Well we did! I had not been to any subway in a bit so when I walked in to see new menu items I was blown away, but wait for it. The subs listed sounded great and made my mouth water with anticipation, then the gut punch came! The price! I'm a modest person living on modest means so when I see a sub listed for $18 for a large, I mean what other size does one buy, I could not justify it. So I ordered my usual 2 subs, the meata ball and the spicy Italian for a total of yup, you guessed it $18 and I was eating good in the neighborhood. So stop in a get you one of them new subs and let me know how they are. I will love vicariously...

I rushed from work to get here before they closed. 9:00 posted time to close on door and on this website. Girl locked the door. It was 8:35pm. I got in my car and called the Subway on highway 88. Hey said they close at 9:00 and they also said that the highway 49 location (by CVS) is notorious for closing early. They get a good rush between 8-9 DUE TO THE FACT that the other one closes so early. In a county where the only option to eat after 9:00 PM is to drive to the casino (and get your food to go if you are trying to feed kids under 18) it would be nice if they stayed open at the same time posted.
